As we all know, YMGGK has came a long way. So lets go into the past and see how has the serial came along and this shall be in several parts which i shall write for the coming weeks.

Part 1

Suhasi Dhami on her role in Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli

Suhasi Dhami, who is making a come back with Rajshri Production's Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, which will be soon aired on Zee TV from 17th November exclusively talks to Telly Cafe about her career, marriage and many more things.

Tell us about your character in the serial?
Well, I am just like a princess in the show who is not bother about any circumstances coming in her life. She is 'ladli' in the family and is allowed to do her own 'manmani' all the time. But on other hand my on screen mom always forces me to do all the household works as according to her any situation can come and we need to be prepared for it. Actually she is making me self sufficient so that I don't need to be dependent on anyone in future.

Apart from reel life, how is Suhasi in real life?
Suhasi is actually somewhere in middle of my on screen character as I am the youngest child in the family and also pampered a lot. I hate taking responsibility, it can be said that I am the naughtiest person in my family who is least bothered about her responsibility.

What is more near and dear to you, your school or college days?
I was very busy during my college days with all my curricular activities, (mera college life kaha gaya pata nahi), I don't know where my college life flew away. But yes, my school life was very much near to heart as I was studying in a girl's school and being there, I have done everything which a naughty girl could do. Right from bunking schools till teasing our teachers. It was really very memorable for me.

What are your likes and dislikes?
If I say about my likes and dislike taking my food into considerations than let me tell you that I am a big foodie. I like to munch on chocolates, sweets and whatever sweet I can get. You can call me 'sweety' as I just love to hog on sweets. I just get angry when I don't get my food on time or when I am hungry. Otherwise I am never angry on any one but always happy.

How has been your journey to success?
Well it was not how exactly I have thought of but still I have enjoyed whatever has come to me. I am happy with what I have and hope it will be better hence forth. As I knew before that I will be definitely getting a role in Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli as I had met Kavita Barjatya before. But the actual time or pariksha will start when the show will go on air. So now I am just waiting for public response.

Any plans to get married?
Please I will be happy if you do not ask me on this issue. I would not like to comment on this question. But just want to say that I am happy.

Album launch for Rajshri serial

Mumbai's ultimate shooting hub Filmcity was looking picturesque and beautiful; thanks to the sudden November rain. In this pleasant weather we were

sipping cool 'sharbat' at the beautiful and palatial golden haveli Swarna Bhavan, which is the residence of the Thakurs from Rajshri production's new offering on Zee TV Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli.

For the first time in the history of Indian television, a music album of a serial has been launched here. The entire cast and crew of the serial Yahan Mein ... were present on the occasion, the ever smiling Alok Nath, elegant Smita Jaykar, debutant Tarun, bubbly Suhasi and the delicate-looking Namrata Thapa all looking their designer best.

A soft-spoken Sooraj Barjatya shared his thoughts on the reasons behind making this serial. Asked about the lavish set, the majestic Swarna Bhavan, where everything is made of gold, he gave the example of the elephant from Rajesh Khanna-starrer Haathi Mere Saathi. "The house is a character like the elephant in that movie and shares each and every thought of the inmates."

Alok Nath confessed that after pack up, when he reached home, he would find it small as they got so used to the Swarna Bhawan mansion. Smita Jaykar looked the perfect 'Thakuraaien' in a red and zardosi sari. The younger cast, comprising Tarun, Suhasi and Namrata were in a jovial mood. Tarun, who after 10,000 auditions, landed this role of Swarn Prakash gives the credit to Siddhivinayak Ganpati. Suhasi, who plays the main protagonist Swarna Aabha, was basking in the glory.

It looked just like any scene from a Rajshri movies, from the unbelievable, massive sets to designer costumes of the star cast. At least we can hope that here is one serial which the entire family can watch together without feeling embarrassed. But only time will tell if it keeps up with the Rajshri tradition!

The Thakur family owns a palatial house in Ujjain and the head of the family, Thakur Uday Pratap Singh (played by veteran actor Alok Nath), is a proud man who believes in living a rich lifestyle and would under any circumstances, compromise on his pride and principles. His daughter, Swarn Abha (protagonist) has been brought up in a very comfortable environment and is closely attached to her family, especially her father. Swarn Abha is also deeply in awe of her father and nurtures her Dad's pride. Unfortunately, the family faces the unforeseen and is expected to live life of adjustments and struggle. What stays to be watched is whether Swarn Abha would be able to cope up with the circumstances, keeping her Dad's pride intact.

Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli debuted at 4.1 TRP Rating

Zee has replaced STAR Plus and grabbed the No. 2 rank in Week 47, with 265 GRPs. Its relative share has increased from 17.7 per cent in Week 46 to 19.3 per cent in the latest week. Its new addition, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, has got an opening TVR of 4.1. STAR Plus follows with 255 GRPs and is at the third place. The channel's share stands at 18.5 per cent, same as Week 46.

Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli: Yashodhar suggests to Thakur Uday Pratap that apart from the 4 crores that he has already lent him, he can give him more money provided he sells off his 'Swarn Bhavan'. Uday Pratap slaps him for his audacity. The satabdi samaroh is in its full swing when Yashodar enters with the court orders that the Swarn Bhavan has to be auctioned . It airs at 8.30pm on Zee TV.

First article that reveals Karan V Grover is entering Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli as the male lead

Karan Grover aka Kayjee might have been shown as dead in Rajshri Productions and Sahara One's Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, but the actor has surely become one of the favorites of the production house.

Yes, you guessed it right!! The actor will now be seen as the male lead in Rajshri Productions' recently launched show onZee TV, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. The show has opened to very good ratings, and will focus on the first major twists in the tale.

According to our source, "Kayjee is the personal choice of both Sooraj Barjatya and Kavita Barjatya to play the lead in the show. The guy will be the son of the rich man who wins the bid for Swarn Mahal".

As reported earlier, Shishir Sharma will play the father of the male lead. He will be shown as the old enemy of Thakur Uday Pratap Singh (Alok Nath), and he will successfully buy the Swarn Mahal, and will eventually throw the entire family out.

"Kayjee who plays the son of Shishir Sharma will eventually fall in love with Aabha (Suhasi Dhami)", adds our source.

However, when contacted, Karan Grover aka Kayjee said, "I have no idea about the male lead who has been finalized. I have just auditioned for the show like many others, and have got no confirmation".

We tried calling Producer Kavita Barjatya, and even sent her a text message, but she remained unavailable.

Karan Grover happy with his romantic roles

TV star Karan Grover of Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki fame is happy being a cute and romantic soap actor. He is working with the Barjayatas for the second time after Woh Rehne...the actor is making an entry in their new show Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli as Karan Prasad.

About this role, he said in the print, "I'm lucky the second time to be working with Sooraj Barjatya after Woh Rehne Wali.A week after my character died in the show I got a call from them. It was a different look and a different character but I tried it. In addition, they liked me. I'm thankful to Surajji and Kavitaji for calling me back."

Further, the actor is very excited about this role because Karan Prasad's character comes close to his persona, "The role is almost an extension of the type of person I am in real life. I am quite a chilled out dude, a rich man's son who never had to struggle in life. I am naughty and flirt with the heroine whenever I bump into her. Later, I fall in love this girl."

He spoke in the print about his real life love too, "I'm very much with Kavita Kaushik. Although we had a fall-out in between but now we are together again."

He later on he told in the print about his Bollywood aspirations, "I would be extremely happy if I'm as lucky as Rajeev Khandelwal, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon. If I get a suitable role then I would definitely go for it. Give me any character in Rang De Basanti, and I will do it happily,"

He even told that he is happy being a romantic hero and about this he commented in the print, "If people like me in that cute Ranbir Kapoor image, then so be it."

Japan PM's wife on Zee TV set

Mumbai/Kolkata, Dec 29 (IBNS) Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama's wife, Miyuki Hatoyama, specially flew from Tokyo to see the Indian television and 'Bollywood world' recently.

Hatoyama started her day with visit to the sets of Zee TV's popular serial 'Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli'.

"She (Hatoyama) met and congratulated the unit for putting up such a wonderful show. She was mesmerized with Swarn Bhawan's (sets) construction and floored with the elaborate dcor used by the production house," said aZee TV spokesperson Tuesday.

After her meeting and greeting with Raj Babu (father of Sooraj Barjatiya and member of a Japanese association) and the cast, she went around the sets and also stayed back to see the shoot.

According to a source she sat behind the shoot camera for a while and kept asking the director for details.

Later Hatoyama went around exploring the Film City, Goregoan and visited other movie sets as well.

Thanks Visha for a rundown on the history of the show. I'm truly amazed that the former Jap PM's wife liked the show. Do you know if YMGGK is popular amongst the Japanese public? This is real globalisation - when enthnic dramas can cross cultural barriers and bring people from different parts of the world together.😊
