I have read the posts and thought I too will voice my thoughts.
It is true that life is never a bed of roses. Anant and Navya have gone through much more than many young couples, mainly because they belong to traditional conservative families who have settled in a big city. While the Mishras are more modern in their thinking, the Bajpayees hold on to their narrow outlook of life and a false sense of pride. Love marriage does not exist in their dictionary.
However, they give in to Anant's zid and agree to bring Navya home with the hope that Navya will do as she is told after marriage. In their hearts, they never accept Navya.
Anant soon realizes the injustice being meted out to Navya and walks out!
The story so far is like a slice of life. Navya and Anant's struggle to find a foothold in the world outside the Bajpayee mansion is also very natural and the joy they find in the midst of all hardships made very pleasant viewing. There was plenty of drama. Navya and Anant had their share of fights too and when they made up, our hearts melted and our joy knew no bounds. After all we are crazy Anya fans!
Then came the sudden change in Sugandha! She started spewing venom and joined the league of Bua Dadi, Baba and Om. Three unpleasant characters were difficult to digest and here was the fourth one. To top it all, there was the spinelessness of Mohit. Does this not make a gloomy picture?
Anya's world of innocent love and their happy relationship with their friends always provided us the much needed relief. We were eagerly waiting for Anant to prove his worth and also prove the Bajpayees wrong. We were also waiting for a revolt in the Bajpayee khandan!
Then, all of a sudden came the accident! We saw the emergence of a strong Navya and our hopes were raised! Had we expected too much too early?
We hate the way the Bajpayees bitch about Navya all the time. While this may also be a part of real life, don't we all want to get away from such unpleasant reality?
Baba's deception today was the last straw. How can pride lead to such deviousness? I certainly don't like to think that anyone can be so evil. I also don't like it when it enters our living rooms and also into the minds of viewers.
This may add to the trps but not to honest, wholesome entertaintment.
I can only hope that we have seen the worst of human lowliness and in the upcoming episodes there will be some positive changes that will restore our faith in human goodness!
