I really didnt understand this conversation between gauri and her mom.. I understood the words I mean, but not the nuance.
What should gauri have done exactly? How did she ruin his career?
She told the dean that a) she has told him several times and b) she went personally and told him.
After that, Jagat has not indicated any willingness to come back...and she doesnt know when he is coming back...whether he will continue to stay in Jayetsar for another three months...
Not only does he not handle his absences himself, he also does not have the courtesy to give gauri a time frame.
So for how long can gauri keep covering for him ? and how long can she beg and plead the dean for him?
I believe the matter is out of her hands now... so I dont understand what her mother feels that she has destroyed kanwarsaa's career.
And if she kept defending him and his absence, after a while, this would indeed destroy her career and her own good reputation with the dean and professors? Why should she take this burden of Jagat on her head any longer?
Were there ways of handling it better as her mother said? and if yes how?
I honestly dont see what gauri could have done.
