Sudeep Sahir, the dashing young hero of the Zee serial Jabb Love Hua will be single no more. The channa Ve boy, who became famous for his portrayal of a teenage doctor Ayushmaan in the Sony serial of the same name is all set to get hitched to longtime love Anantika on April 29 this year. The young actor revealed his four-year-old romance and marriage plans with Anantika, who is an MBA from Southampton University, UK.

So how did it all start? "I am from Delhi while she is settled in Mumbai with her family. We met through common friends and were friends for three years. So it was basically friendship which turned into love. Though she is not from the same profession we hit it off well. And then we felt this is the right time to take the plunge.''

Given the fact that he is an actor and has seen filmi marriages, would his also be a Rajshri kind of a marriage with full rituals? "Yes. Since both of us are Punjabis, ours will be a Punjabi wedding complete with sangeet, mehendi and all other rituals. The reception will be at the Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi,'' says Sudeep.

So does he plan to wear something special on his wedding day? "I have designed my own shaadi ka outfit and I believe it has come out pretty well. As for my bride-to- be, she has been on a shopping spree for the last five months. She has bought a lot of stuff and she will look great,'' he quips.

What about his Mumbai friends? "I will have to return to Mumbai immediately as my shoot begins. So there is hardly any break. I guess, I will have to give a reception here too, but nothing has been planned as such,'' says the good-looking actor. We actually saw the actor blushing while talking about his honeymoon plans.

"I will be very busy for a while and after a month we will be off for our honeymoon to Europe. London, Paris and Amsterdam are the three places that we are planning to go to.'' One could clearly see the excitement in his eyes.

The excited actor gets a tad emotional when he talks about his latest serial, Tony and Deeya Singh's Jab Love Hua. "My new serial Jab Love Hua (coming soon on Zee) was supposed to hit the tube in December. But for some reason it kept getting delayed. But just as my marriage got planned the serial also took off. My girl has brought me a lot of luck. I am very happy and excited. There is a lot to look forward to now," he signs off.

All the best to Sudeep who is all geared up for martial bliss! Looks like this is the season of marriages for leading men of Zee TV. First it was Ashish Nayyar and now Sudeep Sahir. One can't help but wonder what will happen to their heroines. After all, these dashing men are not available any more!
