Reacting to the notice that the Delhi High Court issued to Maya Movies for supposed violation of copyrights in the Zee serial Time Bomb, producer-director Ketan Mehta said," It is a frivolous case. The reason behind this case is a mere channel rivalry." 20th Century Fox had filed a case seeking permanant induction against the programme. It claimed that the show was copied from its serial 24. The suit alleged that not only has the storyline been copied but Zee has also pilfered the presentation technique and the script. Rubbishing the case as "not substaintial and hollow," Mehta sounded as ease and said," The reply to the notice will be sent by our lawyers...Although they had asked for an induction against Zee Telefilms, former Additional Solicitors General Mukul Rohtagi appeared for 20th century Fox.
