I think I skipped over half the episode today... I just couldn't bear it anymore. There have been a lot of comments about the awkwardness of the whole episode but somethings were too much for me to handle. No, I'm not a 9 year old and I've watched R rated romance but this is just so...ew... What is up with Star Plus and no privacy? First Diya Aur Baati and now this show. I don't understand why everyone in the family, even the Grandma, needs to know about the sex lives of two young newlyweds. I think the Bali set up idea was kinda cute but the fact that everyone stayed was just so awkward. I was hoping that they would let them be alone in the house but they had them change, come down, sit, get up, and then begin to dance in a space that is a 1/5 of the size of my room. Really now? Who does that? I know I know, this is a Hindi soap opera but still. I mean the sangeet was the perfect setting for Teri Meri but the passion here was just too much for the living room. I applaud Barun and Sanaya's work with the dance, it was passionate and rich. However, every time they raised their legs for the clique "tango" move, I think a part of my soul died. At first I laughed, then I was embarrassed for them and I couldn't bear it. I'm not criticizing the dance but I'm criticizing the awkward setting of it all. Although, I did find it funny when Khushi and Arnav realized what the family was trying to do and looked down at the floor. Back to my main point (and my title), the worst part of today was the Payash romance. I think I liked the ji-ji stuff better. I mean Akash chasing Payal in a room...ew... Sorry, but I don't want to see their consummation and foreplay. I really don't think that the scene was necessary... I prefer to think of their private lives like I did think of all private lives when I was 5...nonexistent and if something resulted from it (a baby) then we'll blame it on the white bird with the long neck.
My thoughts on clothing: Barun, ASR, Arnav, whatever his name may be... HE IS HOT! We got two treats today: no vest and jeans! I almost fainted. Didn't like the belt though... Khushi just needs a makeover...period.
Overall, bravo to CVs. They gave us a great show despite the awkwardness and bravo to Sanaya and Barun for one of the most intense and passionate scenes I have seen in a long time. The team is amazing and we look forward to more episodes.
