Zee has brought the satellite rights of Don 2 thats can be a possible answer.another can be he wants to change society with new ideas.He liked the PV idea and agreed to promote it.All this my assumption.Anyway its good if actors like shahrukh promote tv show like PV.i am impressed with his attitude towards this show.
