Guys,
I'm feeling very optimistic about this new entry. And here's why:
My reading is that this girl is going to be LOTS of trouble... for Ahem. Gopi is now feeling very vulnerable and hurt. Ahem doesn't understand why. But in the normal way, he would mollify her and Gopi would be ok at least on the surface and Ahem would never understand how much he loves Gopi or find the need to TELL her how he feels. Gopi would smile but she would always be hurt underneath.
Ahem is such a slow coach that he has not understood his own feelings, or told Gopi about them in so many words. From tolerating her, he has slowly settled into a marriage. And now he has even done the deed in behoshi and doesn't even remember!! 😲 Gopi has gotten a pretty raw deal because it seems as if Ahem has just stopped fighting for the life he wanted and has 'settled down' for whatever is on his plate.
What I mean to say is that this kind of tepid happiness is second best for our Gopi. She deserves a man who's crazy about her, absolutely fricking nuts about her. Right? We all agree. But how to bring Ahem to such a situation? The CVs can't make him insecure about Gopi because everyone knows she loves him. But he should still face the situation where she might leave him. This can only happen because of another woman.
Now if this new girl is going to start pataoing Ahem, he will try to run from her. He will realise that he belongs to Gopi.
But Gopi will misunderstand, think that Ahem doesn't love her, will never love her, so he'll be happy with someone else.
Ahem will have to do a lot of work - he will have to chase off this girl, run after Gopi all the time trying to explain what is in his heart. If Gopi wants to leave so that Ahem can be happy with someone else, then He will HAVE to come out and tell Gopi, I love you, only you, there's no one but you.
The story has to progress, na? A new girl is very good news, trust me 😛 Waiting for this track!!
