It is an important day for all of them. This was the day when Nupur finally came back to them. This was also the day when they all became couples. This was the day when their Uday also found a girl for himself. This was the lucky day for them. Every year on the same day something good happened. Sajan marriage, Mayur becoming parents, Uday getting engaged, Benia getting married, Sajan becoming parents, Benia becoming parents, Uday getting married. It was the day when Mayur had married after a stormy, troubled efforts to convince Gunur's father. It was a lucky day, full of strange co-incidences.
One day, as that lucky day was coming up soon, Samrat invited Mayank, Benji and Uday to a pub to discuss a surpise for their respective wives. Their children were growing up- Mayank's 5 year old son Venkat, Samrat's 3 year old daughter Tanya and Benji's one year old daughter Cherry. Nupur was now a part time business woman, carrying out her business from home- a catering service. Gunjan and Dia had set up a joint business venture where they taught personality grooming for girls and women. Uday's newly wedded wife Urmila helps her husband in his hotel business. Samrat is a part time basketball coach and a part time partner to Nupur. Mayank is a professor and writer for management and business. Benji was in his father's export-import business.
The men decided to surpise their wives as on this special day, Uday's twins are to be born, and the day was a day of anniversaries and birthdays. They decided to make it special and romantic.
The day arrived. A beautiful morning.
In Mayur home, in the bedroom, Nupur awoke to see a beautiful bouquet on her bed in front of her, a large card saying Happy Anniversary. She smiled sleepily and looked up to see Mayank sitting up and gazing at her lovingly. He leant foward and kissed her cheek. She smilingly closed her eyes, cuddlled up to his bare chest and wished him. He took her hand and kissed it, saying I love you. She kissed him on his cheek, saying I love you too Mayank.
They then lay still till a sound was heard. Mayur smiled at each other and Mayank called out- Venkat! Darwaaza khula hai! Aa jao andar!
Little Venkat opened the door, unsure. His tiny hands held a card. Mayur held out their hands and Venkat rushed to the bed gleefully and sat in between. His parents tried to kiss his cheeks and he swerved, making Mayur's noses meet. He laughed and his parents tickled him wishing him Happy Birthday. He wished them, giving the card he has made painstakingly. His parents hugged him. Nupur then took out two gifts from under her pillow, one for Mayank and one for Venkat. Venkat tore at his gift wrapping and out popped a drawing book, a box of colours and some chocolates. Mayank opened his gift, a nice Kindle. Mayur hugged each other and their son. Then Mayank took out an envelope and gave it to Nupur. She opened it and three tickets to an exotic resort at Lonavala came out. She excitedly hugged her husband. Venkat received a couple of comics from Mayank. The three hugged and cuddled together.
In Sajan home, in Sajan bedroom, Gunjan sleepily woke up to see Samrat's bedside empty. She was puzzled as he usually waited for her to get up on that day. She looked around for any sign of surprise and found a big note on her bedside table. She put on her specs and read it. The note instructed her to open her cupboard. She suddenly realised it was his game of treasure hunt. She dragged herself from the bed and opened her cupboard. A sticker on the locker told her to wear her red and white gown and go to the bathroom. She lovingly smiled, and wore the gown which Samrat had given her the last time. She then visited the bathroom to see a note on the mirror, telling her to take out her gift from the closet. She reached out and opened her closet to find a cute teddy bear holding a heart shaped card saying Happy Anniversary Chasmish. I love you. On the card was a note telling her to go to the kitchen.
She reached the kitchen to see beautiful roses arranged in one big basket. She smiled and suddenly felt two pairs of hands, one on her waist and one on her knees. She smiled and suddenly scooped her daughter into her arms, whirled around and Sajan shared a hug with little Tanya. Samrat kissed his wife on her cheek, and touched her nose. She wished him and said I love you too. She kissed him back. Tanya, her finger in the mouth, was still in her mother's arms.
Samrat then led his wife to the lounge where some gifts were waiting to be opened. Tanya rushed to her gifts, a big toy horse from Samrat and a cute musical toy dog and some sweets from Gunjan. She gleefully laughed and leapt around as Gunjan handed Samrat his gift, a newly launched model of guitar. Samrat then handed over the envelope of three tickets to Gunjan. The couple hugged each other till Tanya attempted to break them apart. Sajan scooped her up, kissed her cheeks. The three then sat on the sofa, cuddled up together.
