Part 4:
*at dinner table at night*
Everyone was busy eating when Anjali asks: Bhabi, aap ka shopping kaisa raha?
Khushi smiles: bohot accha Di! Pata hai humne bohott sare kapde kharide, ek se bar kar ekk!
Then she looks at Arnav who was giving her the evils and her smile disappears and she scrunches her face at him.
All of a sudden Khushi says: aaj hum poolside par sooenge.
Arnav looks up at her from his food in shock. He mutters: ''what the hell are u doing Khushi?'' before she spilled everything, he had to stop her...
Khushi just gives him another innocent smile.
Anjali: lekin bhabi poolside mein kyun..?
Shyam looks at both of them with suspicion.
Khushi looks at Arnav, smiles shyly and says: Arnavji ke saath.. *KSR funny BG tune*
Arnav: what thee!
Khushi: Di wohh kya henaa, arnavji ne humse vaada kiya tha'
They all look confused..
Anjali: kaise vaada?
Khushi: ke woh humare saath poolside mein tare ginte hue raat bitaayenge *she smiles and looks at arnav shyly*
Arnav's eyes widen in anger but he keeps quiet. He just gets up from the table and walks away whilst Khushi laughs to herself.
..
*in the bedroom*
Khushi comes in to see ASR picking up his duvet and pillow to go the poolside. He looks up at her and walks towards her in anger.
Arnav: wohh kya tha?!
Khushi asks innocently, in an over the top sweet voice: kya kya tha arnavji?
Arnav just gets more furious, clenches his fist and walks away to the poolside. He lies down and is about to close his eyes when a pile of another duvet and pillow drop beside him. He gets up quickly.
Arnav: what theee! Yeh kya kar rahi ho tum?
Khushi puts her hands on her hips and smiles: hum aapko khaa nahin jaayenge Mr. Raizada.
She sits down next to him and fidgets until she gets comfortable.
Arnav just looks away and sighs. He was so tired to argue with her but 'if she wanted to sleep by the poolside then she was most welcome to,' he thought, 'I'll just go inside'.
he hears counting..
Khushi points at each star: ek, do, teen, chaar, paanch..
As she points and counts away happily, Arnav just stares at her. His eyes soften at what he saw: her innocence *ohh rabba veee* he smiles to himself and lies down, looking up at the stars.
Khushi stops counting to see him lieing down.
Khushi: aap bina tare gine soh nahin sakte..hum aapko sone nahin denge *she folds her hands as she says this*
Arnav: toh meine kab kahan ke mein so raha hoon? Mein toh bass letaa hoon, you continue'
Khushi lies down too and continues her counting.
Arnav looks at her beside him and then up at the stars she was counting and smiles to himself. The last words he heard were of khushi counting. And so slowly, they both fell asleep, next to each other, counting the stars.
