Why is DEK even unique?

Well after replying to posts of members, I had a realization that perhaps everyone may or may not be aware of, so I decided to share =)
She and Goldie Behl, along with being producers of this show, are also the producers ofLondon Paris New York, an offbeat romantic comedy movie...a very cute movie told in a unique style. 😊
The thing is, I know everyone is getting impatient with things not happening the typical manner/route of how a usual indian drama unfolds, but I think it's important for the characters to evolve to become worthy of the things we want to see happen in the drama and not just happen because we want to see it happen NOW. We want instant gratification without realizing the consequences this may have on the overall storyline as well as the characters.
ANYWAY back to why SA is the unique factor in this show...
GUYS, she knows what she is doing, she is just doing it in her own unique manner. Why were we so hooked to DEK?? Because we encountered characters and a storyline different from anything we have ever seen on Indian television. The thing is the story is being unfolded in an untested, untried manner...where things don't happen the typical dramatic manner because this is a drama that shows a more realistic side of human relationships than other dramas currently on other channels.
I mean why can't we completely hate Jai or Vijay bhai because we see a human side to them, they have grey shades but they are not villains (although they may do things we hate 😆)...Or for that matter why everyone seems to make excuses for UV when he does bad things yet we refuse to believe he is bad because we know there is a good side to him. Or for that manner Manyata who's got grey shades of her own in that she is very stubborn and sometimes lets that override everything else JUST like her beloved DS. 😉
So after witnessing such characters, why don't we also realize that SA is unfolding the story in a manner never done before, even with youth-based shows like MJHT or DMG??
She is DIFFERENT, a real breath of fresh air for bringing this show to light. I know she has made mistakes in terms of keech keecha, but when is that ever different with any other show?? I feel like we as fans want to force her to make this show terrible and run of the mill like everyone else because all we want to see is Manveer, but it can't be 24/7 Manveer, then there would be no storyline...and then the show would just become pointless in trying to tell the story of a world different from ours.
I feel like the last couple of weeks we were given a twist on Holi that left us reeling (and believe me I was not loving it 🤢), but I knew that however terrible this major twist, it was surely going to bring something good AND we are seeing some of that happen with more development of U-M (even if it is dheeme dheeme, although I think it suits them because both characters still need to develop as well as the title song always saying dheeme dheeme yeh dil mujhse kehne laga 😆)
I have noticed that yeh bas SA ka style hai where she will give us a big twist and then every week there will be some crazy sub twists and turns to get our heart rates going 😆so that we are left on the edges of our couch every Friday wondering what just happened so that our heads spin to the point that all we can do is keep watching to figure what's REALLY going to happen😲...And then the things we expected to happen, but not in the WAY we expected to at all. 👏
With other dramas we feel like we can somewhat predict what's going to happen, but with DEK we can't which drives us mad (although if you think about it, if anyone watches American dramas, this is actually a norm, but since this is an Indian drama, we have a different mindset because we expect to be spoon-fed what's going to happen, which isn't fair to the DEK writers who are trying to write for fans a more interesting/smarter storyline where even fans can't predict what's going to happen)
This is why I think DEK is unique, for the interesting writers and producer who have a unique sense of humor and storytelling that is quite different from other shows especially the rival show Amrit Manthan (another princess story) which is not that interesting (I watch an episode once a week to see how it is and it's not interesting at all...I mean the Rajmata in that show doesn't feel like a Rajmata, Aruna Irani's Rajmata is the BEST Rajmata out there)
SO FANS, those who have given up and those who are still with us, KEEP STRONG because the rival shows like EHMMBH, Amrit Manthan, and YMGGK don't deserve the ratings that DEK deserves. 😃
