what is the reason behind Shyam's pocket money?

After today's episode everyone's confusion about shyam job status is solved. Shyam gets pocket money from asr which i am pretty sure anjali doesn't know about at all like other facts about shyam.we knoe asr is doing this for awhile since he said he will discontinue the money for shyam but whats is the reason behind it like asr is doing this for her handicapped sister who no one wanted to marry n shyan did a deal with him so asr did it for his sister's happiness n never uttered a word about it to anyone but my main question is how come nani didn't got a background check on shyam like his famiy caste since both anjali n nani are very religious specially when shyam's family is never shown or even mentioned n most importantly Shyam's job ljke how can he provide for his wife after he gets married.i know shyam is smart n cunning with his sweet talks lekin you cannot ignore these facts as well.there is a lot of mystery behind shyam n i bet whatever we know is nothing compared what shyam babuaa is hiding.
