While one would have taken note of the filthy language and expletives in his earlier raw, realistic films 'Omkara', 'Kaminey' besides 'Ishqiya', Bhardwaj is not going for softer tone in his forthcoming film 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola'.

Imran already made impression with his new image - by growing a beard, putting on weight to look older for his character in the film. The director is keen to present the actor in a completely brand new avatar, totally different from the usual stylish guy-next-door Imran. It is heard that he is taking Haryanvi lessons for his role.

From 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' boy to 'Delhi Belly' dude, Imran is gradually roughing it up through his appearance as well as lingo wise. With 'Delhi Belly', he first had the taste of foul language, but with 'Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola' talks are that Imran will be full on mouthing abusive dialogues.

Apparently, Gulzar, a close friend of Bhardwaj, has requested the helmer to tone down the language and use it sparingly in limited scenes alone.
