Oh, Shaun, Shaun, Shaun (shaking my head). You really do like to play devil's advocate, don't you?
So let me take what Hetal said in yesterday's episode to Kokila - You always say you for justice, but your kathni (talks) and karni (actions) are not the same.
I think Hetal is all kathni and Gopi vau is all karni.
Gopi saw how upset her devar ji and how repentant her Rashi bhen was. Gopi is the peace maker and true nurturer who always makes sacrifices for family unity. Since she is all good, she sees good in others. Growing up with Rashi behn, she always looked up to her and since her marriage, Rashi acted that even the kalakaris she did were for Gopi's benefit. Even though Gopi in her subconscious mind knew of Rashi's nature, she was into forgiving her and moving forward. She is not all talk, she got Rashi behn back in the house. Now, Jigar could have opposed that; he could have made his bhabhi understand, but he didn't. Gopi should not be blamed for Rashi's entrance. I think sooner or later Rashi would have been back some how. May be the elders in the house would have decided to forgive her and bring her back once the things cooled down. Gopi just speeded up the process because she is all karni.
Here's bechari Hetal. She is just kathni, who just talks the talk, but when it comes to walking, she just plops down. She called Gopi her daughter. Rashi or no Rashi, is this how she should be behaving with Gopi? She has known both Rashi and Gopi since the beginning. Has Gopi ever given Hetal a reason to believe that she is irresponsible and careless? Hetal herself has taken Gopi's side and praised her in the past. Was all that her kathni? What was the justice in what Hetal did yesterday by blaming Gopi? OK, she wants to side with her Rashi vahu, she could have said "jave dena" as always. Why blame Gopi?
As far as Hetal's relationship with Kokila is concerned, I agree with other posters that she just acted like a peaceful lake all these years, but she was hiding a lot of storms underneath. She said things on the surface, but she hid her real thoughts in her mind and never had the courage to spit it all out and become a karni like Gopi. Rashi is just a catalyst to bring it all out. If it wasn't Rashi, something else may have triggered Hetal to bring it all out in open. If Gopi hadn't brought Rashi back, Kurmila wouldn't have given up on getting Rashi back into the MM. I wouldn't have put it past Kurshi to play the kalakaris even from RPN that are currently being played inside the MM. Hetal was going to be influenced one way or the other. Gopi is not at fault at all here.
