I have been a Koki fan right from the time I started watching SNS.. I love GoHem and GoKi.. But today I loved Gopi and Koki separately and together more even though the episode was sad... This is why...
Gopi - It is very difficult to look above our personal grief to identify issues around you in the family. Gopi is now experiencing the greatest sadness she has ever experienced in her life.. Her husband forgot their moments together. What more, unintentionally he just made the wound deeper today.. But even then, this girl is resilient enough to set aside that when it comes to her family. She took a blame for something she knew was not her mistake.
I personally do not know if this is correct or not.. But I think she did the best under the circumstances. She saw her Maaji defend her and she saw that the argument was going out of hand. With the intention to stop this from going towards something everyone would regret, she took the blame, knowing well that she was disappointing her Maaji.. đ She is brave, I give it to her and totally selfless.. If somebody is not able to see the pain behind those tears then it is really not her fault.. Truth always shines and it shone in Gopi's lie today. I loved her for what she did today. đđ
Especially when she first apologized to Koki. I think Koki understood, so did Aham that she was apologizing for lying and not for the mangoes. That was a subtle touch and it made me sad for this brave little girlđ
This girl is a true family person. She will always keep the family united whatever the circumstances. She will be strong, smart, and also brave.. She is Koki the younger.. Who can say that Gopi is stupid after this? She thought on her feet, found the situation going out of hand and salvaged it.. Maybe Koki would not have taken the blame, but she would have had the same smartness and strength to do what is necessary to diffuse the situation. She would have always put the family first before personal gratification and glory...
Koki - Her immediate defense of her bahu shows how much she loves her. It was pathetic to see Rashi blame Gopi.. More so when Hetal suggested that Gopi was lying. And the MIL-DIL ganged up against an innocent victim. Her quick defense and her quick thinking when Rashi jumped the gun by almost blurting out that she gave the mango to her mother was fantastic. Only the Hetal did not want to see the truth behind her words..
Still, the way she told Hetal her side of the things, warning her against Rashi again all showed the care she still has for Hetal.. What I most loved was her final words to Gopi. She proved how righteous she is.. She ordered Gopi to never repeat the mistake, I think she knew Gopi did not make it in the first place and the way she wanted Jigar to have mangoes next morning..
Hats off.. She really loves and cares for Jigar.. Her tears when Hetal gave the low blow that she would herself get the mangoes even after Koki asked Gopi to do it was proof enough as to how much this is hurting her.. There is no question.. Koki and Gopi love the family an everyone in it truly.. Even when people do not deserve it..
Hats off to this duo.âď¸. I should say that though it was sad to see UrShi again getting away without punishment, Hetal being more and more despicable.. It was a good episode to show where Gopi and Koki stand..
On a side note, I think Aham will not question Gopi, but will get the mangoes that night to help her tomorrow.. He is her saathiya and he will support her. He trusts her and does not need an explanation. She did and said something for a reason. He just has to be there for her and I think he will..đ
