Chapter # 54

Nupur was feeling restless and was roaming in the room impatiently waiting for Mayank to return. She was yet confused about what Gunjan meant about being careful with Mayank's money. Mayank had never mentioned anything about money, then what was all this fuss about?
Nupur sat down on their bed and picked up the pillow unconsci6usly hugging it. But gunjan had said it all to her na? Means it was something of importance and she had to take it into notice.

Sighing she got up and again started parading the room lost in thought when she finally heard the horn of MAYANK car. Quickly running to the door, she threw it open and greeted a tired Mayank with a rather preoccupied smile.

*hey princess..* Mayank managed a tired smile and quickly pulled Nupur in his arms and kissed her softly. *gosh i missed u princess. * Nupur let him engulf her in his arms and faced another dilemma. Whether she should talk to him or not. He seemed so tired that it didn't seem correct to bother him or confront hin with her mind thoughts.
So she decided to let it be for now and snuggled in his arms and gave herself for the second kiss.

They had dinner and then enjoyed another of their passionate lovemaking session. In spite of being tired Mayank needed her in his arms and felt the need to be inside her, taking her to heights of passion. In the afterglow of what they shared, Mayank realized Nupur was preoccupied. Softly kissing her head he whispered. *what's on your mind princess? M i already failing to keep my wife happy in bed-*
Blushing Nupur snuggling to him, blurted, *Mayank how much do u earn?*

Maybe it was the relaxed state of her mind that brought this on or it was her blunt nature, but the response made her seriously wonder if this was a tragic error.

Mayank was sure he had not heard correctly, but then he was assured it wasn't this. He had heard her right.
Frowning amusedly he created some space between them to look at her properly, *what brought this on princess? Are u planning to be the typical wife with a strong hold on my pocket?

he was grinning by now and was surely reducing Nupur to tears. She had no idea how to manage this situation at all.
*mayank! Ye kya tareeqa hua jawab dene ka?*

she pouted and mayank pulled her cheeks, *what else am i supposed to say princess?*
he was laughing it off and she was just not liking it.

she was rephrasing gunjan's words and that was just not a good idea. She felt Mayank's body stiffen beside her.

somewhat assured but her mind in pursuit from new questions, she wanted to say so much more but just then Mayank purposefully placed his lips on hers and took her into a voyage of passion and pleasure, making sure the questions in mind stayed at way, but for how long they both weren't sure.
