As we are witnessing the ratings of BALH are not so good despite the awesome chemistry of Ram-Priya...and good storyline, good treatment of episodes...here are following few of reasons why TRP's are not so good despite strong fan base for them...

1 : Poor Marketing - SET marketing has been totally upsetting especially towards fiction shows ever since Sneha Rajani took over reigns, though the marketing has much improved with C-Night promo but still the marketing is not upto mark...

2 : 4 Day Per Week & No Maha Episodes - BALH airing 4 day per week is not justified, when one of the most successful show of SET airing for 4 day per week with no maha episodes, though we can't help out anything regarding that because of Sony another most successful show CID airing in that slot, but that has made lot of viewership distarct to other shows..

3 : 10:30 MORE COMPETITIVE - This days 10 30 slot is more hot cake as other channels are airing one of the best quality shows like NBTNMKK, Pratigya, Punar Vivah which has eaten away BALH viewership and that because of 4 day per week and Poor marketing...

4 : Online Surging Demand - As many may not follow BALH through TV's but watch the episode in online and with online viewership surging the demand for TV watchers have decreased considerably, which is again impacting TV ratings..

5 : DRAMA THING AND WATCHING ONLINE - As every one mentioning about drama quotient and no drama in serial, only serials with drama is being watched by viewers, then you all are wrong, Drama serials are mainly being watched by elderly people who dosen't know how to operate internet and stuff...they watch serials only through TV and serials like BALH and other youth shows watched online...actually many of our category who want BALH like serials watch through online...and the demand for drama serials in Internet is very less...

6 : ABROAD RATINGS DON'T COME INTO PICTURE - As we knew BALH serial not only famous in India but even in abroad too, people from other countries too watch BALH keenly, their viewership and ratings don't come into picture at all because our TRP's are caluculated from Indian viwers and not abroad viewers...

Though there are many other reasons(which I may not know), but one suggestion to all members is that those who watch BALH through online, kindly watch in YOUTUBE OFFICIAL CHANNEL as that will help channel to know the exact viwership of BALH and don't watch it on otheer sites...

What you all think above my post???Kindly discuss and even post your views as it is really important from TRP's point of view...If you all can believe it or not the C-NIGHT TRACK also didn't fetch up the desired ratings...

very well researched and well presented. All your points make sense.the C night garnered lot of publicity for the show but has not transformed into trps because of the aforementioned reasons in your post. Is there a way to incorporate online viewership for trps?

Very nicely analysed. But TRPS always jump up and down. Its not really a sure shot way to gauge the exact viewrship as the sample studied is always miniscule.. But then its also the bane and boon for many shows..

very well said and analysed...Sony gives importance only to shows like CID and Adalat...BALH is not promoted that extensively...Sony has gained popularity only because of BALH...hope u all agree with me

C-NIGHT official TAM ratings are not released yet...IF says that BALH didn't fetch enough TRP's for C-night...

I say its because they refuse to take the NRI audiences in the mix.

ALSO, its because last weeks SUPER HOT episode was too much for the Aunties in India who PRETENDED that they hated it. Last week's rating should come strictly from the number of hits on single "march 12th" episode. If they count over 1 million hits in 1 week, BALH shoots off the roof and broke ALL the records.

I think its simply because pple in India were pretending to be upset about a single episode. If they took NRI vote, it would have broken the record.. 😆

That is what in my last line I mentioned that kindly watch BALH online in YOUTUBE OFFICIAL CHANNEL...but don't watch in unofficial links...if we watch in unofficial links then actual online viewership can't be determined...

Thnx for appreciating my post...excatly I say because of not taking NRI audience into consideration many shows off pulling off air...I say BALH type shows and even other youth shows which used to air in STAR ONE like GHSP, RBO, MJHT, DMG are victims of TRP system...

Your right not only with BALH but in between with KBC, Adaalat, CID and Crime Patrol also...but I say ever since BALH took on air, from that time ratings like CID, Crime Patrol were consistently in TOP10 though barring for few weeks...
