Karma can again be a real sucker.. So we find that Karma is slowly catching up with Aham. Did we think Karma will let him off so quickly. It knows when to bite and it is going to be gut wrenching.
The real heartbreak of all this is that to make Aham suffer, Gopi has to suffer. That is a foregone conclusion for Gopi and Aham's happinesss and sorrow are so intertwined with each other that it is now not easy to see who will be suffering the most..
So now, Aham is getting to see a Gopi he has never seen. Gopi was his eager wife who did everything for him without fail.. He had fallen in love with her, her smiles and her simplicity. Suddenly his life is now going to take a turn for the worse when he sees the light in her eyes dim and almost die..
The saddest part is like Gopi in the beginning Aham will find it difficult to understand why Gopi is suddenly suffering the way she is. That will make him suffer more. He will want to change her sadness and see her smile again but for that Aham needs to know what is wrong, what is killing her slowly. But that will be the most difficult thing for him. Gopi does not share her pain easily.
One day, a year back, right after one of his frustrated outburst to Gopi, we saw Gopi crying to herself, voicing that Aham does not realize that her happiness is in his, that she would do anything to just make him happy.
We are in lines to see Aham do the same thing, his style. He will not cry like Gopi did. But her sorrow will surely burn him and when she avoids him, it will slowly make him grow angry. Aham's anger equates to his love, his happiness and his sorrow. He is most comfortable with that feeling. So now, Aham will have to overcome his insecurities because he will be worried for his love.
Does he deserve her avoiding him after today? The answer is there is no exact good or bad in this. Karma is just catching up. In order for Aham to realize what it means to be avoided, it needs Gopi to avoid him..
That would never happen except for something as big as this. To Gopi, him not remembering is dashing the hope she keeps building in her heart. This time, the hope has been dashed due to an illusion. But she does not know it and is now disheartened and disillusioned to even start to hope again. It may be never if Aham does not save her in time.
The irony is that, this time Aham does love her. He loves her and wants her to be his own. But Gopi cannot see past her previous suffering to understand this and give him a chance.
As for Aham, if Gopi had given up hope a year back it would have made no difference. But now it will surely bite.. Aham Modi will suffer for his past mistakes with this one, intentional and not and that will show us that his love for his wife is as strong as Gopi's for him. We will see Aham struggle to again start building what he thought was an almost done deal till before Holi.
Their love story has always been endearing and this time I am happy that it will be Aham who will bring the hope and happiness to her life. Aham Modi does not let his loved ones down. He is not going to let Gopi down and certainly not her Kanhaji. It will take time but he will get there for sure. He loves her so..
