I was and am still crazy about Mr Darcy...while I understand how you feel, in this context it is a bit archaic..noone in urban India ever calls their husband Mr. SO and So...thats why its sounds odd...but the strange thing is that even Neha or the others dont ask Priya why she calls Ram, Mr Kapoor...I dont think the cuteness will go..the intimacy will become more if she calls him Ram or Golu in private..
