Indeed a very apt song, for anyone going through discrimination or bullying. Christina Aguilera's version, is the one I am familiar with and the video illustrates the lyrics really well.

Discrimination against mixed race or black people, transvestites, homosexuals, fat people, anorexics...anyone that is different from people some people in society discriminate against that person. In life you need to constantly fight against bullying if they use words against you return those words with interest, speaking from experience. If you stay silent it brings you down and make you ill.

Well very good song choice, and I am including Christina's version for others who want to see it.
