I enjoy the show because of its lightheartedness, but I definitely do think that there needs to be some sort of conflict or something. The Arjun's dad thing doesn't seem to be strong enough because nothing really seems to be happening anywhere.

Like Naz said, I think just showing the happy scenes of Arjun-Lakshmi, and then the relatively childish scenes of Lakshmi aren't clicking with the viewers.

^Definitely not bashing the show or the characters. 😳

Cheers!

I agree that they are taking too long for Arjun's dad to do something about Lakshmi. They should have been faster at the uptake of how he would have settled this Lakshmi business. I expected big dhamaka's, the truth coming out, misunderstandings, RV being against ArMi. But it's been very low key so far. RV has been all bark and no bite. I believe that RV does have the power to bring in lots of conflict in the show but the character is not been used to his potential. The writers are hinting towards it and building towards it but taking sometime to give us some romance first coz once the conflict starts, you can kiss the romance goodbye for quite some time.

Haha and no, I don't see creative criticism as bashing the show or the characters.

@Bold: Yup! Even a stronger/harsher reaction from Lakshmi after finding out that Ajay is really Arjun. The CVs had so much opportunity for drama, but they really didn't use it well. As much as I love a good love story, a happy one, you need some sort of conflict, whether it's between the leads or an outsider and the couple or something to add that extra spice 😆

But well, after a point I know we're going to hate it with no romance, but sometimes the romance does get to be a bit much 😆

PS: Love your avi!<3

It is childish and the show does need drama but not the two marriage kind, is my point. They can use this Vishal-Saraswati track to create that drama and angst between ArMi's relationship too. I truly believe that Lakshmi needs some kind of a huge shock (like her rishta being in trouble) to grow up. And I believe that some fault lies with Arjun too for shielding her from every problem coming their way. He encourages her childish behavior instead of letting her grow and mature from experiencing and solving the said problems.

I think the CV's need to first clarify what Laxmi considers as shocking.. she completely overlooked the fact that the man she loved could not trust her enough to enlighten her as to his true identity.. when any other individual would have felt somehow cheated.. I agree while Arjun is responsible for shielding her from reality I feel her family members are to be equally responsible for her childlike conduct.. especially Bua being an elder she should have helped bring Laxmi out of her dream world instead of encouraging her dreaming is acceptable.. but one must be capable of facing reality..

Let's see the simple fact that Arjun omitted the fact that his father does not nor has any intention of accepting her should be a wake up call.. this will continue to annoy me she has every right to know this fact before their marriage takes place..!!

totally agree.. since of late I think the pace of the show has been relatively slow.
