Sandeep Acharya Chat Interview

Karma> I know many must have asked this question but still I want to know hw does it feel after winning the Indian Idol 2 contest. Were you sure about winning the title from the every beginning?
Sandeep Acharya> It was like a dream come true for me. I felt really nice after I won. I was sure about what I was singing. I wanted to win and was very hopeful about my chances.

Happy_Leo> What is your best trait? How is your favourite female and male play back singer?
Sandeep Acharya> I am a good human being with a good voice. In females my favourite is Lata Mangeskar and in males it's Udit Narayan and Mohammed Rafi.

Minu> I have been following Indian Idol from the very beginning. I would like to know about your growing up years.
Sandeep Acharya> I was born in Nepal. I was very naughty during my childhood days. I have been born with music because there is a music touch in my family.

Sam> Whom would you like to be your dream date?
Sandeep Acharya> My dream date is Sushmita Sen.

Fool> Do you think that thanks to contests like Indian Idol, there's no dearth of opportunities for upcoming singers today?
Sandeep Acharya> Such contests are great opportunities for new singers. All those who think that they have the talent should not miss such opportunities.

Hi..from_rahul> Have you signed any films so far or are you busy with non-film album? Your parents must be really proud of you. What is the first thing you bought them out of from your first earning?
Sandeep Acharya> My parents are really proud of me. I am buying flat for my parents in Mumbai. Not signed any films yet but talks are on. Till now was busy with my debut album called Mere sath sara jahan , which just got released.

Sam> Do people compare you with Abhijeet Sawant? How do react it?
Sandeep Acharya> Abhijeet Sawant is a good friend and at times people do compare us. But I take it in a positive way.

Pooja981> Can you share your birthday and your email id with us
Sandeep Acharya> My birthday falls on 4th February 1984 and since I don't access the net that often, I don't have an email id.

Kshitij> Were you confident that you would win because Karunya was giving you tough competition?
Sandeep Acharya> I always put my best in whatever I have done. I just concentrated on my voice and my performance. And it's good to have a strong competitor.

Sam> Other than music which are your other interests?
Sandeep Acharya> I like to playing cricket, reading books and traveling.

Kshitij> How has your life changed after being Indian Idol2
Sandeep Acharya> I feel a change in everything. I have become more confident, people have started knowing me and liking my voice. I got a chance to do an album which is a really big thing for me. I feel grateful and humble.

Hardeek> Which is your favorite song from your first album?
Sandeep Acharya> I love all the songs because each song has its own identity and its own flavour but the title song mere saath sara jahan is my favorite.

Kshitij> What do you think about Himesh Reshammiya, the singer. What rating would you give him on a scale of 10?
Sandeep Acharya> I love Himesh Reshammiya. He is giving different and spicy music which is fun and popular.

Pooja981> Do you have any girlfriend?
Sandeep Acharya> I don't have any girl friend (smiles)

Kshitij> Of all the three judges, who was your favourite and why?
Sandeep Acharya> I liked all the 3 judges because each of them is great in their field.

Decentgirl> Since how long are you in the singing profession?
Sandeep Acharya> I have been singing since last 10 years but not professionally.

Kshitij> Are you a party animal or a 'boy next door' type of a guy?
Sandeep Acharya> I like to party but not that often. I am a simple and smart guy (smiles).
