What a fitting finale to the magical week. This might just be the best week of BALH from the start of the show.YET😉. The moment we were all waiting for was done with classy passion that I was wondering if any of the later episodes post that would match up. Hats off to the CV's for the fantastic turnaround. From the high point of consummation to the positive graph of love in their lives, this was done in style. And today's last scene just gave me goosebumps. If you want to watch the transformation of Mr Ram Kapoor to Golu avatar to OCD kapoor and to the Ram in love.. There's no better than this week's episodes to give you a glimpse of that man in every form. Priya Kapoor who has fallen heads and heels in love remained in the glory of belonging to a man she deserves.Her talli nature didn't make her forget her priority in life, her husband, the man she waited all her life, the dream that became real.
Today was out and out Holi episode. Even being 7 seas away, I felt a part of the Holi celebration thanks to the whole environment in the episode. The costumes, the dhol, colors,thandai,bhaang and the music gave that feeling of a realistic Holi.
Vikram and Neha once again proved their nature of friendship and personalities. Neha's concern and happiness for Ayesha was so starkly different from the show off of Kapoor's.She stated what most of the audience felt about Ayesha's walking off the ramp with dignity and turning it into a proud moment. Vikram's instant identification of Sid's intentions and his effort to save Ayesha from the lusting Sid was another feather to his good man cap. His extension of going all the way to protect RaYA from the evil trio and the Sharma family makes me wonder what would happen if it weren't for his presence. His role is much more than a side character since he fills the hero's shoes and makes up for the leads naivety. Wonderful performance by the duo once again. But I think they are not going to be enough for protecting Ayesha from the evil eyes of Sid and may be its high time someone needs to join the troup to find the true nature of Sid. Fingers crossed.
Nutz and Ishika's surprise over Sid's behavior and Nutz reaction makes me thinking if she's gonna play it to her advantage or let Ayesha be more embarassed. For me, it's a golden opportunity for her. She knows Nih and Sid's true intentions and may be turn good if Nih is not able to help her out with the Sharma trouble.
Sudhir and Shipra being overjoyed seeing their daughter smile after 18 hours gives us a glimpse of their nature. Their belief of taking people at their face value and not doubting their intentions unless proven wrong.I hope that their trust doesn't end up proving too costly for them.
Niharika. OMG.. She 's made herself into a complete cartoon.🤣 Her hurried nature to jump into conclusions along with the overconfident mind is going to be boomerang on her. I liked how she dug herself deeper into the hole of Ram abusing Priya. keep going baby. I need to have some more romantic moments till you figure out the truth and make a winning plan. All said and done, Eva looked absolutely pretty in the attire and the hairstyle.😳
Priya Kapoor may well be awarded the best Talli queen in the industry. But CV's hopefully you will get creative and stop using this strategy again. Atleast not till the next Holi since Bhaang may have been the reason why it didn't look odd. It was OTT for me since the first Talli was simply her best performance acc to me. today was an out of control PK who somehow didn't fit very well in the circumstances. But that doesn't take away the cuteness in which she performed the scene. Her interaction with Shipra made her mom more confused than ever. They probably made that scene to get the point of how she got hurt. Niharika's intervention to get the hot news before Shipra ji leads to the cute interaction where she makes her saasuma to promise about questioning Mr kapoor. And how tht confusion got compounded by Priya's explanation of Ram's behavior and Nih's interpretation is only a sight to watch and enjoy.😆 Then she proceeds to complain to Vik Neha about their bestfriend aka fatty's during her mommy finding expedition. Neha wonders if Ram did really beat her up 😆 only to be rejected by Vikram the sane one.😃
Ram Kapoor the husband who must have gotten expertise in handling a talli wife has got himself a bigger trouble. Unlike the previous times, his wife is on a mission to expose his izzat and the passionate night to the family. A tough job at hand, his eyes scan for his wife throughout the celebration to stop her from spilling the beans. His worried expression during the convo with ViK Neha about Priya's state makes the already confused couple go bonkers.😆 And his embarassed expression to Nih who is asking him to control his wife from spilling the beans about previous night😆. He was just too good! Once again!😃
Panchayat time:
Neha who wants to be the referee calls Ram to enquire about his behaviour last night. Priya holding her hand and yelling in pain and complaining about Ram. Ram arrives to a quizzing Neha and has that super cute expression of Yeh ladki mujhe marwake chodegi😆. The expression of if only the earth would swallow me at this instant moment😆 While he vehemently tries to explain that he didn't commit anything last night, Priya attempts to reveal the truth since he wasn't going to.Ram goes woah.. 😆Niharika jumps right in thinking that she was going to avoid the news abt the beating up being spread out.😆 And Priya disagrees to talking in private since she needs to inform everyone about Ram's behavior😆 Ram tries to find out the reason for her behavior and enquires if she drank anything.. Wah Wah detective Ram.. Finally samaj aagaya..👏 Nih gives out a worried expression of meri chori pakdi gayi while Neha argues about the qn being irrelevant to Priya's complain abt his bad behavior😆. Ram manages to send Vik Neha to get some lemonade since Madam Kapoor is high on bhaang and then take Priya away. While Nih and mamaji plan celebrations based on their wrong interpretation, in their high class style.. Mujhe lagta ki jaldi indono sadak pe aane wale hain.. chalo do theen scotch aur marlo.. kya pata kuch din ke baad kanji bhi milega ki nahin😆
FITTING FINALE:
Ram tries to reason to a talli priya about keeping their action night😉 private since the entire world needn't be informed about it.Ram watches her reactions closely hoping that talli Priya understands this serious emergency crisis.😃 She seems to hear him and repeats his request and an exasperated Ram tells her Exactly. Only to be told off by Priya that he shouldn't be screaming but requesting😆 Ram repeats in a sweet tone please.. don;t tell anyone anything😆 okie.. But Priya kapoor is not satisfied. She wants him to request to his dear priya😆 Ram is at the edge of his temper break out but does as he is instructed. He pleads her to take some rest in their room only to be rejected by Priya who doesn't want to go back to their room. There starts the FB's of their consummation night.😳😍 Then Priya tells him that its her first holi and he hasn't even applied colors to her only to be rebutted by Ram who argues that he was not gonna do it as he had informed earlier. Priya checks with him twice and post negative answers, she gets back to her dhamki of informing everyone once again.😆 I don't know if its me or an acting glitch because Priya appeared sane then and not talli.May be it was a plan to make Ram agree.😕Ram Kapoor immediately stops her knowing the impending embarassment he would face and throws an Angry sorry. Then starts the Holi Dhamakha.
The whole family is dancing around to the music and enjoying themselves. The love birds are next to each other. Rang barse on the background and Ram applies the colors(red) on Priya's face and gives her the most satisfying look with a slight smirk. A look of genuine happiness on fulfilling her wish once again. A visibly happy Priya Kapoor goes ahead and applies colors on Ram who lets her inspite of hating every part of it(ofcourse showing it too!). There he throws the smile of his life that would make every fan go weak on their knees. An overjoyed Priya sprays more colors on his kurta and he repeats her action. Showing his irritation over her actions, he flashes another smile and hugs her while a tearyeyed Priya savors every moment of it.She hugs him tight with her hands around him and he places his one hand over her hand. That symbolizes he would be there forever.
Here was the man whom we all wanted to see. Yet again, the man with a golden heart stepped out to show his love for his wife. The one who stood his ground for her family in times of trouble, the one who lay on the sand to fulfill her star gazing wish, the one who overcame his OCD behaviour to make her first holi memorable. Yes it was tough but at the end of the day, he would overcome his worst fears to shower his love as she was worth it. She was more important than the whole world and here he was making another baby step in LOVE. The journey that would evoke those emotions he has never felt for a woman and would make him do the craziest things that he has never done before. Welcome to the rollercoaster ride Mr.Kapoor.
P:s - The characters in the show have genuine flaws. OCD is a big deal for people who handle it. While we expect them to behave in a certain way, those simple things like sand, rain or colors are not as enjoyable like the most of us. It is indeed a big deal.Iam glad CV's did show a couple of days of hesitation and shyness in Ram. It sticks to his characterization.
