The dance, hugging, staring in eyes, naughty grin, blushes, shy smile, proposing, kissing and the last ring part were just beautiful.

Nupur's winter vacations finished, the days felt like flying away and it was yet again the time of her departure. There were tears and pain, but this time a much stronger wish of returning. She knew the next time she would come; it will be for never going back again. She will come to be a part of Mayank's life, to become her princess in real.

Both of them realized that these two years meant the crux of their lives. They knew the success of these two years meant guaranteed their future. Mayank had completed masters, and now was starting his job in the multinational company, he decided to give his best to his work, he wanted to give his life to his work. He wanted to succeed ' for Nupur. He wanted to live his life with her ' at any cost.

Nupur was never ambitious, she studied, because she knew she had to, she was given no other option, and even now, if she would be asked to leave her studies right away, she would do it without giving it a second thought, but she knew this won't happen, so she had to wait until she would pass, and if she had to study, then putting in hard work didn't harm.

"mayank the place is nice na?", Nupur was frowning on listening that Mayank hqad hired a comparatively cheaper place for his residence, after he had to leave hostel.

"yes Nupur, it is nice, I mean it's okay .. I have this nice window and ..

"Mayank!!", Nupur interrupted, "why don't you come and live with dad, I mean ..

"Nupur"?, Mayank spoke in disbelief, and realizing the meaning of her impulsive offer, she corrected immediately. "I mean Mayank, just ..

"Princess will you ever learn to relax?", he interrupted in turn, "I am living comfortably trust me, and as far as living with your dad is concerned, I think that is out question, and you understand it as much as I do, right?"

His voice was so strict that for a moment Nupur was taken aback by the fear that evolved in her heart, "umm .. yeah .. okay .. sorry ..", she whispered.

"listen here princess, I didn't mean to be rude, but I cannot tolerate my hard work being considered as useless, whatever I do, is because I want to weave a beautiful future with you, and no one .. not even you .. is allowed to interfere".

The determination is his voice made her shiver for a moment and for the first time, she didn't even had the courage to lighten things up with a romantic comment. This was a new feeling ' the feeling of fear attached to Mayank.

That call ended on a lighter note, initiated by Mayank, and she smiled with him, but one amore thing she knew that this was just a glimpse into Mayank's hard side. It will reveal itself after marriage, and she was scared. She had to accept she was scared, but then, remembering his love filled side, the fear vanished. She thought that keeping in mind how immensely he loved, this minute fear was worth it.

Mayank was too busy to notice anything else than how rapidly he was progressing. Within six months, his office had realized that they had indeed found a gem. His life become focused on a aim to make big in life, and he was getting numb to every other feeling , except fro success.

"Mayank!, this is a week after what we are talking!", nupur pouted and Mayank sighed, "I love you princess, and I am working for you ' working for us", he said , with a tone which only demanded approval, and thus Nupur ahd no choice but to grant it, "I know, but I just missed you"

"don't even start me on how much I miss you, anyways, how are your studies", he said and Nupur was yet again rendered speechless, and had to answer normally.

No matter how hard Nupur tried to get angry with Mayank for being too busy, she never could do that. Sometimes she thought she was helplessly in love with him, but then, a more neutral part of her heart gave credit to Mayank on the ways he could compensate. Agreed, he would call after a week and not even flinch, bur then once you'll get a long letter, written by his own hands, compensating every minute for wait she had spent for him.

She knew that' she had accepted Mayank, whoever he was, his anger, his moods, his love, his way of expressing love, everything. And now when she will return after a week , back to her city, holding her bachelor degree, she will be ready to surrender herself to the recently promoted board of directors ' her Mayank Sharma. It was finally the time of her marriage.
