Raqesh and Riddhi have no time for honeymoon
Raqesh and Riddhi Vashishtha

They are not just reel life, but television's real life couple too. Working together in "Maryaada - Lekin Kab Tak?", Raqesh and Riddhi Vashishtha recently got married and were in Bhopal for a promotional activity. They spent an entire day shopping at the Bhopal Haat and also visited a few other places in the city.

Bhopal Is Awesome
While Riddhi has been here before, it was Raqesh's first visit to Bhopal. Raqesh gushed, "When I looked out of the window of my hotel's room, my jaws dropped. Bhopal is awesome. It is clean, green and everything that an ideal tourist place is like. I am amazed and impressed with the local administration for maintaining the city so nicely."

To this, Riddhi said, "Before coming here I had told him he would love the city. I've been here at my friend's wedding and the first thing that one sees are the sparkling clean roads. When I had first come here, the airport looked like a small building. Now even that looks so huge."

Shopping Was Great At Bhopal Haat
The actors took time out to visit Bhopal Haat and bought a few things. Riddhi said, "I spotted this antique-looking chair that looked amazing. The first thought that came to my mind was, 'Oh my God! This furniture belongs to my living room. I told Raqesh that I don't know how we'll take it back to Mumbai, but I want it'. I am a Delhi girl so I have always been to Dilli Haat. Coming to Bhopal Haat was like the feeling of deja vu for me. I went back to my college days when my friends and I would hang around at Dilli Haat."

Raqesh too bought something for himself. "I love jaggery, and the one available here tasted really good. So I bought a whole lot of it. We have also taken Bhopali soorma with us. I have heard it is very beneficial for the eyes. I think, it will be more useful for Riddhi. Like her, even I have visited Dilli Haat, and the one here is very similar, but much less crowded.

No Time For Honeymoon
The couple have been part of "Maryaada" for long and got married after working in the show for some time. So can we call the time their courtship period? To this Riddhi replied, "We didn't realize when we started dating. You know, we were in complete denial. And we had also not expected that we'll fall in love. It just happened."

Raqesh says, "The best part of our dating was that there wasn't any dating. Even now we don't consider ourselves as husband and wife on the sets. That's the beauty of our relationship. We had the chatt mangni and patt byaah wala relationship."

And where did they go for honeymoon? "There has not been any honeymoon," said Riddhi, adding, "We haven't got the time to go for honeymoon. Both of us have been shooting like crazy. Also, Raqesh is doing "Heroine" and a Marathi film. So he's even busier."

Thanks for the sweet article 😃

They're such a cute couple, they can go on HM when the show ends.
