So, I could give a huge rant but then I thought I'll keep it short and simple

Conclusion, I think DID has forgotten that this is a family show .

I agree :( I ranted yesterday in that episode discussion thread..Some acts yesterday crossed over to cheap mainly because of the cringe-worthy choreography :S

I have absolutely no problem with sensuous, passionate, HAWT acts per say, provided they're done aesthetically. Yesterday they were not..at least IMO.

Sadly it's not just DID either..I think desi TV in general has forgotten what "family audience" is.

Yeah it's not like I mind either... but now it's like all they can think of is sensous acts

In DID 1 mostly there were romantinc duets too but this is just something different ... I mean the contestants are not only touching each other for lifts but kissing legs, girls touching the guys chest, girls wearing bra sized tops, guys shirtless ... this is all so unnecessary it's not the contestants it's the weird choreographers, what need is there to throw pool balls over Rajasmita 🤢 or play with the pools stick?! even the bachata was not suitable for a family show. Rajasmita saved the act coz she's so professional in everything. She's just amazing in everything. But it's not just gkg, even rkr's acts were awkward. What need was there to put the end scene in Vaibhav and Mohenas act and Sanam and Mohena's. Not even in a Bollywood movie of 90's you'd see them dacing in the rain like that 😕And i don't think tkt get's saved either looking at varun and sneha's acts though that was not that bad. Now it's just getting worse.

I don't mind seeing sensous acts if only they show professionalism but unfortunately it doesn't look professional but awkward.

For example I could watch acts like Hai Rama with my mum without hesitation but watching Sundays episode with my mum would have been really awkward for me. I'm glad i watch it online lol 😕

i totally agree! im glad that i watch these episodes on my laptop, which saves me the embarasment of parents being around..

but i thought the pool table, and then the mohena-sanam thing was SO over the top! :s

its borderline b-grade movie 😆 theres not even any dancing :S

He sure got some yesterday..

I agree DID has taken a leap in HAWTness..

When nothing works Gimmicks sure do 😈

Paul-Rajasmita's act was just plain cheap. It got creepier and creepier as it went on..from the leg kissing to the weird ball throwing. Such CRINGE-WORTHY choreography does not suit India's top Dancing show. What Bachata yaar? They couldn't even do the BASIC step of Bachata right which is that hip-shaking one TL was talkign about!

Parts of Vaibhav-Mohena and Sanam-Mohena were cringeworthy as well..but I really thought the worst was Paul-Nandu. You're right, Rajasmita was about the only likable part of that act. How uncomfortable was Mohena in that "jhanjariya" performance? Sanam toh is anyways stiff..par Mohena seemed a bit uncomfortable..I don't think the water bit was necessary at all.

The end of Vaibhav-Mohena, I think Remo was inspired by the original here. My mom was telling me that AB Sr carries off Kimi Katkar like that as well and gets his "choomas." Luckily this was the only one I saw with my parents because they left after this one ..they saw the episode later in the night. I'm glad I watched it alone. Dude, Varun-Sneha were never cheap. It was never this bad.

If this is added to create chemistry, then they need a reality check on what creates chemsitry. If such cheap gimmicks are needed to create chemistry, then most likely the couple has NO chemistry in the first place.

As for clothes...okay sometimes it's totally understandable why they wear what they do. I don't expect them to do ballroom dances wearing salwar suits, par it is not necessary to always be shirtless *cough* Sanam *cough* . Even the item songs they've shown..can't be wearing salwar suits in them. As long as its necessary for the dance, I don't mind their clothes as such.

Hai Rama is probably the most passionate act I've seen on DID..yet I never once cringed during it. It was done aesthetically. The choreography never got cheap..when it easily could have. I saw it with my parents and I didn't feel awkward at all. Khair that was choreographed by Terence..

Oh and another thought..yesterday I said ki 90's has too many iconic songs for them to do all of them...par thinking more about it, I definitely think ki other ones could have been chosen...to represent the 90's more comprehensively. The 90's is predominantly remembered as the "family film" era. Would anybody who has no knowledge of the 90's guess that from yesterday's episode? Out of 6 acts, 3 were all about HAWTNESS.

about Varun and Sneha i was trying to say that there have been hot acts in tkt but they weren't that bad like these ones ... even i had no problem with Amar and Shaktis duets ... and yeah Hai rama was one of the best acts in DID and at that time it didn't even go through my mind for a sec that it's not decent or what so ever like now

vaibhavs last part i found it vulgar .. i mean they kept acting like that till they reached the stage for comments 😕

for me honestly even the clothes are irritating especially when the girls are showing half their bodies and the guys are touching nearly every part of their body if i was a dancer i'd never go to DID just coz i don't wanna wear such clothes 😳 so embarrasing ... and lol about sanam .. it's like he thinks there's no other guy with a body like him ... forget about his unbottoned shirts now toh he even wants to show his back 😆 seriously no ones interested in your body 😆

Ahh okay :)) Got it now :) Yes Varun-Sneha, Aamr-Shakti, and Jai-Vrushali have all done passionate acts but they were never cringe-worthy..well Terence toh is a master choreographer here. He knows where to draw the line..maybe because he doesn't use for gimmicky purposes..its just pure dance.

Oh did they? I find Vaibhav's expressions somewhat cheap sometimes too..he needs some control.

LOL Sanam..I just wanna tell him..dude I've already seen you shirtless...it's great you have a 6-pack or whatever pack but really I don't need to see it every episode. Put some clothes on 😆 I'll buy them for you and parcel them if need be 😆
