Last evening's Apsara Awards were probably the best awards event in 2012 so far. On the whole , the show was not only decent and well choreographed event.Definitely a class apart from the other trashy awards we have see so far.

The yesterday year Heroines and Heros made the function awesome. Waheeda Rehman, Saira Banu, Vyjantimala,Shabhana and Jaya B. Dilip Kumar, Manoj Kumar & Rajesh Khanna. A wonderful award to felicitate the real STARS. The " STARS" looked wonderful keeping their age in mind . Something the Hollywood stars need to learn from our Indian industry. Dream girl truly stole the show...in lovely PINK saree...

Way to go Apsara👏 A definite watch for all those who have skipped watching Awards.

I really loved the tribute to yesterday year Hero and Heroines very well done.

Loved Anushka's, Genelia and Ritesh's performances

Totally agree with you all. But I have to say that they could have included Helen and Sharmila Tagore from the yesteryears lot. I missed them.

I really liked Apsara Awards compared to all other awards. Specially the part wherein they honored the yesteryear's actors/actresses... It was really nice😊

Liked the award show!

Few things that I noticed:
- Hema Malini came late and she kind of stole Vinod Khanna's thunder. She came just when he was talking... He did not have a chance to say much..
- Rajesh Khnanna taking a potshot at HemaMalini for coming late
- Manoj Kumar taking a dig a Rajech Khanna for saying more than 2 lines...
- Karan Johar kind of announced he is gay. He said to VidyaBalan: "You trying to flirt with me is useless... It won't work on me..." and gave a suggestive smile...

I liked the ceremony much better, as in the way it was hosted, but the performances weren't all that great. Iv'e noticed tv award shows have better performances.

I loved the tribute they played to all of the legend :)

PS - Why the hell did they choose Amisha to perform to all the item songs?
