Indian Idol open to more roles-Sandeep

Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai seems to be a strange love story. Strange because the lovers don't seem to be happy with each other, as time and again they buried their differences only to drift apart later. As happiness continues to elude the couple, Kripa has finally got engaged to Nishant, played by Hiten Tejwani who was recently added to the cast of the show. But it was Indian Idol 2 Sandeep Acharya who actually stole the show.

The singer plays Angad's friend and attends Nishant's engagement ceremony. Sandeep was completely at ease in front of the camera and sung the lilting number, Thari pehjenya ke bol sun ke dil mhara dol from his album. While the singer insists that singing remains his first passion, he is open to making more such appearances, where he gets to promote his album.

Sandeep seems to be taking a note from Amit Tandon's book. The actor who now plays Manthan in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, too was an Indian Idol contestant. Although he didn't win, he is doing much better than most of the winners in various reality shows. Besides, Amit too first appeared in Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai.
