I know we all feel mamiji was over board and over the top on 12th march episode...i mean even i commented on her wierd scenes between our beautiful rabba ve!

but i think she providing a much needed comic relief in between all this melodrama..atleast thats what i think the CV's are aiming at...

Lets break it down...think like this...

* If u see the history of indian television...you'll see angry saasumas,evil saasumas or even violent saasumas...(those r really very common!...) or an out and out Good saas...

*But manorama mami is a character who is crafted to be a modern day satire on these MILs...

*They way she treats payal...

*makes her cut onions with an hour glass nearby...

*the way her jaasoosi goes about...

*the way she uses the spring oninions as a Chaabuk..(that was a bit funny actually)

*she uses each and everything around her as a chaabuk(whip) literally!😆

these scenes are just comic relief guys and nuthin else...just a satire on the ever suffering DILs and overpowering MILs

PS: The only thing i have a problem is payals behaviour...she should also behave in a more endearing comical way than the opressed!

SAME! I think Manorama's "scenes" were just to add funnies to the show..Too much rona dhona gets depressing and its nearing holi in the show..So they have to lighten things up...Plus, if the MIL was all nice and everything to the DIL...You can only IMAGINE how boring their scenes would be..

Mami: Payal betiyan, tum baas onionwa karto

Payal: Gee.

THATS IT 🥱 waste of screen space. But THIS way...Well, its funny in a way with all the whipping of whatever she could find that would make a whip XD
