I was looking back at a video, whilst making a VM.. And I noticed I think we have the answer given by Udhay Veer himself.
"You are a mirchi and he is water, woh tumein buja de ga! You need a REAL MAN!"
In one sentence he's defined what we have been seeing and analysing.
Manyeta the Chilli Bomb
Akaash - He would put the spice out of the Chilli and difuse the chilli bomb!

All in all it's all said in the night club by UdhayVeer...
So there we have it, Akaash is not allowing Manyeta to strive, he's trying to spice her down by trying to keep her vulnerable and innocent. And when time came - he has always let her down.
Udhay allows her to have her jungli billi attitude, because he knows he can handle her. He is a real man with self confidence knowing he can handle her without her compromising on her beliefs and choices and she'll still be able to maintain her spice!
