While it was childish , irritating in parts, and Arnav dropped another couple of notches as far as I am concerned, underneath all that silly fight some things got clearly established..
Khushi has started to gain an upper hand - enough to push Arnav Singh Raizada to do the impossible. Make a spectacle of himself and his family (the water fight, and doling out photographs to his security guards of his wife to not allow her entrance, really dude?)
While ostensibly, Khushi's interaction with Akash served to assuage her concerns about the Akaash - Payal bond, it has established a basis or background against which Akash would be forced to question Arnav's decision if and ever it comes to ASR carrying out his threat to khushi. Hopefully Akash will be man enough and have brains enough to act and think - preferrably not in that order :-)
Khushi has negated her earlier position in the Arnav-Khushi relationship which is further strengthened by a slow and gradual acceptance by the Raizadas. She will go back because the Guptas will still be acting like jerks but she goes back not as the victim but an equal aggressor and the resultant cat-and-mouse game between the two should be an interesting watch.
Interestingly Shyam seems to be getting more desperate and impatient. His gentle and not so subtle nudging of Anjali to unravel the reality of Arnav-Khushi relationship now seems to be driven by a desire of letting everything come out in the open. That akes him so much more dangerous and hopefully makes for some interesting encounters within the triangle.
The combined pressure of Anjali's curiosity and Khushi's aggravations should hopefully culminate in a showdown within the triangle...
