Have u guys ever heard of 'FABRICATED ARTICLES'.Have u ever heard of celebrities complaing tht they were misquoted by these conniving reporters.
Before believing this article and believing that Ruprekha would have said any such thing about Lata ji just use logic and think tht would any upcoming singer would even dare to compare themselves with lataji who is the Goddess of music industry, leave alone insulting her.Do u think that a person in a right frame of mind do that??
I am sure today Rupu has been misquoted, tommorow it might be Nihira's or himani's turn, wht would u do then, believe the article or use ur logic??
These reporters don't spare anyone,so don't get so much carried away by such articles.

I am not sure if Qazi/Roop Rekha has actually said this. You know how the reporters are. They add their own "masala" to make people read their articles. We have seen this with the likes of SK Jha. Seems there are more reporters following his footsteps.

Go and see them sing live while the shooting is going on..and you will know.

And to say Sharib sings better than many original singers, is amith which like of you will always live in....

Qazi n RR are just performers. why the hell did they take part in a singing contest, or was FG not a singing contestšŸ˜•

even i have doubts if FG was a singing contest or not. the winners got their album but so far no offer from MDs. like AS said that people struggled to reach success!!!!!! like kunal ganjawala struglled for 12yrs. look where he is now. so let's wait and watch what happens to the newcomers.

I am sorry to say this but I think this reporter Anjali Singh is out of her mind.

If I were to interview an upcoming artist and if that artist actually says something ridiculous about the most reverred person in the field, what will I do? I will just ignore that part and not write about it. I mean as a reporter, I will use my judgement to decide what to include in the article and what to avoid. This Anjali Singh does not seem to have such common sense. She should have avoided writing any such thing about the most reverred person in the country today EVEN IF IT WAS ACTUALLY SAID by the interviewee.

Sorry for being little harsh on her here but I could not resist here when I see such things being written about Lata-ji.

I think this post is already posted and discused before...

and just go thru this "Have you seen Lataji singing on stage? She is totally deadpan, but watch our shows, they are full of life. Yeh hai hamari originality. Yes, we don't sing our own songs but the unique way in which we render these songs, sets us apart." They are singing their own tune, indeed! pathetic..where are Quzi n Rupu these days

It would be great if all journalists would act in the manner you have described but if they did how would they boost their newspaper sales

This article keeps getting discussed precisely because it is controversial and because the nature of the beast is to believe the negative about someone first.

This whole world is full of inconsistent people. They say something on TV and something else in print.

Of course FG was not just a singing contest,it was asinging and performance contest.

And i would like to ask u if u consider SRGMP at present is a singing contest only??šŸ˜†šŸ˜†

If u say tht SRGMP is a singing contest then what kind of a singing contest would not make its singers sing live in the finale but instead record their songs in advance and have them lip sync so that their singers can perform on the stagešŸ˜†šŸ˜†.Apparently it did not have enough faith in the talented contestants tht they would maintain their sur when they r performing so they let go of the live singing in FAVOR of performance.

Why blame Fg when a contest like SRGMP which was supposedly a singing contest can sacrifice live singing for performance.😊

I agree with u on tht, maybe rupu must have made a comment on how different the stage shows used to in days of lataji and now but i don't believe tht she would have said something to insult lataji. Is'nt it true tht the stage shows now a days r so much different then they they used to be.there is nothing wrong in tht.
