Our STAR Plus leading ladies have been an inspiration to many with their thought provoking ideas. They stay firmly rooted to their traditions, yet move forward with their thought-provoking personalities . The typical ghungat clad bahus have come out bolder yet gentle when it comes to family matters. There is a change in not just tone of their voice but also their personality, transforming the way Indian women are now seen on television. So, be it Pratigya, Sandhya or a Suhana each of the ladies are a source of inspiration to others in their own ways.

We asked the leading ladies of STAR Plus to pick their favourites from the STAR fraternity who they think have contributed to the society. We asked them who in their opinion is a thought-provoking leading lady and in what way are they influencing society.

"I think all the women from the STAR Plus shows are thought provoking as they all have brought about changes in society. The bahus of today are no longer the ones who didn't even used to raise their voice when exploited. Also, one good thing is that they are spreading the goodness all around and within their family in a gentler way. The once traditional family is now becoming a more modern one because of their thinking. Also being modern does not mean, one not adhering to the customs which best describes the Indian society. The STAR Plus bahus are making the changes well by respecting the old family traditions."
