Degrading to Women

I think the show Thodi Khushi Thoda Ghum is degrading to women. It is simply insulting to hear words like "kabu main rakho" and all such crap in this century. Who the hell lives like that ? Educated women like doctors are being treated like that ??? Is this the Indian society ?? Is this our culture ? We should be ashamed that such serials are getting aired and people watching it. 😡 I protest

um, i understand your anger but the serial is not about how women should act, but about how women who are being degraded fight back against their opressive inlaws. Keep watching the show and you'll see. 😛

I really hope they wake up and do something about it. JUst because they are married they are not slaves. They do have a right to live.

Hopefully!they will take sum positive step to chnge uncles thinking n to prove tht women can do a lot infact more than men can do............. 😛 😛 😛

I agree with Goldie.It is totally degrading women.I hope they change the story.I always think the story is going to change once it is revealed who sharada is .Hope it is Mansukh's second wife and he was hiding it from all.Once that becomes public he wont be able to boss around 😃

I hope that more than the crappy Father -in-law the Bahus realise that they should stop being treated like a door mat. If the sons wanted someone to cook they could have got themselves some maid

i think their tryin to show the msg that there is still a difference in the society. also the woman are gunna fight bak, so that will be waayyy better 2 watch. but i dont watch it much, so this is only speakin frm someone who has watched a couple of episodes.

Me too I watched a few eps and was shocked .. I did not expect Sony to air such a show. Well .. I am sure they will show at some point that the women do fight back but imagine the kind of dialogues that are going on right now. I mean who will ever stop someone from helping her own parents ? Why doesnt this woman just slam a divorce on his face ? She should just say go jump down an ocean with your crappy adarsh. 😡
