Does Arnav know about the Khushi-Shyam engagement?

One thing occured to me just now, as I was thinking about last night's episode..

Arnav tells Shyam that Khushi is his wife, and he knows everything about her.. So I was wondering if maybe he heard Khushi talking to Laxmi about her engagement with Shyam.. So maybe he knows about the engagement, and has a bit of a clearer picture of Khushi and Shyam's shared past.. But he still thinks that Khushi is in love with Shyam, and so the contract marriage continues.. After all, Khushi had told him that she was betrayed by her fiance, and she was hurt in the process..

I dunno... Just a random thought on a Tuesday morning when I should really be working instead of obsessing about this show! 😳

Would love to hear your thoughts, though..

interesting thought...though i doubt that Arnav knows about Khushi-Shyam engagement...because to me it seems that if he had heard her talking...he would have walked up to her to ask her to explain...try and find out the truth...but who knows

After watching today's episode, I also kind of got this vibe that he knows. The way he is acting around her seems a bit off.

I am almost confused now as to whether Anjali knows or Arnav lol

See, I thought about that too.. But then I thought, even if he does know about the engagement, he would still think she loves Shyam, since he thought she loved her fiance.. So in his mind, there would be no change in the situation. To him it would just be a clarification of why Khushi loves Shyam and wants him to leave his wife.. So he wouldn't go to her and ask for an explanation, he'd just go on presuming the worst.

Yeah, his lovey dovey act didn't seem like such an act to me.. There was some genuine feelings mixed in there.. Especially when she started choking..

Anjali is really confusing me these days. They've done such a U-turn with her character, I don't know what to expect from her anymore.. She is a complete mystery to me know.. No idea which way she'll go when the truth comes out..

Maybe.. And in any event, even if he did, it wouldn't really make a difference to how he's behaving, since he would just think that she loves Shyam, and that's why she got engaged to him.. So he would just continue with his 6 month marriage plan and all...

he probably doesn't know that Shyam was living in Buaji house either.

Yeah, realistically it doesn't seem possible.. I was indulging in some early morning flights of fancy and outright wishful thinking.. 😆

Anything is possible at this point! But I doubt that Arnav knows about the engagement! Even if he DID know he probably still thinks that Khushi LOVES Shyam!

He thinks that Khushi loved her financee! However this is not the case! He is clueless RE this! Remember how jelouse he was of the "Un-known" Shyam?? I mean IF he has not figured out that the two Shyam's are the SAME man, then he needs to start "renting" some brains!!!

How possible is it that she finds ANOTHER man called Shyam within the same 3-4 months since her engagement broke down? When he was thinking back he even thought of the incident when she first met Shyam @ RM and Anjali says "this is my husband, the best husband in the world"!!

The sad part is I dont know IF he has connected the dots yet! I dont know if he has figured out that Khushi and the Gupta's were DUPED by Shyam! Even if he HAS figured it out, it dosent mean he dosent blame Khushi! Maybe he thinks that IF Shyam was not married, Khushi would be willing to be with him! Hence... she tells him "Leave your wife she means nothing to you"!!!

So it may be that he ALREADY knows, but maybe he dosent! IF he has not figured out that Shyam the Fiancee and Shyam the Jija-ji are the SAME... then "Kya Karu Main Iss Ladake Ka"????
