A SHOCKER: Mohnish Bahl Quits KTLK…

After a good news that KTLK will continue at its present time slot of 8 PM, here comes a bad news, in fact an utterly bad one for some. Actor Mohnish Bahl who is playing Dr. Ashutosh in the serial has left the serial. He and the Sony Channel have regarded his Back Pain as the reason. According to Sony TV's Business Head Ms. Sneha Rajani, Mohnish's doctors advised him to take rest, and in that case he would not be able to give his all to the show, show they agreed that Mohnish will quit.

But this is only what's being officially said by the channel and Monish himself. Fact of the moment is that there is a buzz in the media that Mohnish quit the show because he was not very comfortable shooting with Kritika Kamara (Nidhi Verma in the serial). Well there seems to be some point in this, because many times earlier we have seen that in a number of scenes Mohnish Bahl and Kritika Kamara appeared in different frames.

Well now whatever the reason was, the story writers had to fit his exit in the story in such a way that the viewers don't feel very unpleasant and, if possible, a new twist is brought in the story. For this Dr. Ashutosh had to die. Yes! believe me the central character of the story has died (may be temporarily, I mean he might be brought back with a plastic surgery or something like that.). But the biggest question is will the new actor who will don the hat of Dr Ashutosh be able get the support from the viewers ? Lets just wait & watch…

TFS Tanu looks like the media is also playing the guessing game as we are as to who will be the new ashu or weather there will ashu at all.

Thanks for sharing this article, initially it would tough in accepting another actor who steps into the shoes of MB as Dr.Ashutosh but at last the character matters, if the new one could fulfill the need of the character & does justice to the role of Dr. Ashutosh then surely the kind heart viewers would definitely accept the actor who ever steps in as new Dr.Ashutosh.😊 but we need to give the makers a chance, we can't force an actor to do against his wish or on the norms of keeping his health condition on stake & at the same time just for the sake of one person the makers can't shut down their show & put them on loss instead they can make an attempt & we should give them a chance for them to do so, after all it's my opinion...

The show makers and the actor(s) are hell bent on closing down the show...therefore it is immaterial now who steps in as the replacement or story takes some new twist and works out as lead less...God knows...But, the 'official adaptation of DK' should be removed.

@bold - That is exactly what I was thinking. They seriously need to remove it. DK ki story toh kab ki khatam hogayi hai ab toh adaptation of DK ko remove kardo sony channel walo and rajan shahi ji. I am sure the makers of DK won't have any problem with that instead they might be sitting and regretting as to why did they let you people make this disaster that sony calls "Kuch toh log kahenge".

Though in my own idea,it is the Fault or Mistake from both the Parties-KTLK team and MB but i am in little favor of KTLK Team.May be the Initial Story which was signed by MB,more or less similar to DK where No-Touch-Romance was the story Line.It was the Fault of KTLK Team.They should have understood that in the Present Time,it can't be valid-i mean there may be no need of much INTIMACY but some close sensitive scenes are required according to present Day's context.But however,the Story Line changed in the MidWay.But the whole BD mess started with the Dargah confession and within a Week of the Confession,Separation Track(House Track) started.It might be be because of MB's reluctance towards romantic Scenes.Then after their reunion-again Mallu Drama and Age-Gap issue started without giving time to blossom the Love.But suddenly since the V Day,after all the Pressures from the Viewers,SONY intervened it and the positivity came into the track.Why then only MB decided to quit the show?Actually KTLK makers had lack of Planning or Lack of Vision but couldn't we expect a more Professionalism and Co-Operation from an Actor who is in the Industry from 30 years?
I have no intention to bash anyone.Even i am sorry if anyone is hurt by my words.In fact I may be wrong also.But my main point is-we should give the Show another chance.We should give a chance to the New Lead and to the KTLK Team to find the suitable replacement and to their Story Line,with a sort of patience.KK is giving all efforts,if the a New Lead comes at least we won't have to face the BD issues and it may make the Show better.So we should hope for the Positive.
