👍🏼What wonderful posts from Diya, Sahana, Sheila, N7, Sugar, Dristi, Shastra and so many of you who took the time to post...am a bit tied up right now, but let me say this...

Diya and Zu...I love how you put it...absolutely brilliant characterization 👏...Transformation from "hate" to "hurt"...yes absolutely something to look forward to...and Cvs have it in them to bring the story back from a hopeless place to something that has so much promise..😍
However, I do want to say specifically to Sheila's post that...although I did not say it in so many words...when I said...the temple scene had "unexpected" reaction from Khushi...my feelings behind that were...I also felt that something did not connect ...She should have fought more when he picked her up ...she should have expressed some anger ...some...resitance...but she went into the mesmerized and puzzled mode a bit too quickly...The scene worked for me...after they came down the steps and she cried...but before...I fully agree...a fireman hold would have been more appropriate for the scene then a cradle hold...😃
Regarding "fake love" it holds alot of promise...if they play it right...If they focus too much on how "fake" it is...rather than Arnie stealing some real moments from there...it will not work...
While the CVs show strokes of brilliance at times...some times they completely lose it...lets wait and watch...
@Lurvebooks...Loved our response to my "What is love" post...you have the heart and talent to be a poet...have you thought about it?😃

@red- Sush, that is the whole problem isn't it?! During the kangan scene, Arnav was SO sure of what he was doing.. there was absolutely nothing that was genuine abt it .. and he didn't get carried away in the moment. For a while, till he can't get his brain cells back, it is going to be only pretence from him.. and when that changes into genuine behaviour/he steals real moments, as you put it, it may be too late, coz by then Khushi may think that its all only to show the world that they are "happy". That is why i'm pretty much against these scenes right now, even if Khushi knows that its all fake, because all this is going to backfire on him..

@lovestea - TBH, i'd always prefered a separation track over a marriage one.. because absence makes the heart grow fonder, they say... and till now, neither Arnav nor Khushi have actually understood the importance of the other in their life...and they won't, until they separate. And yes, a separation track will come up sooner or later...and that reminds me of mami's line when imitating Arnav promising his Di.. aapki "khushi" ke liye apni "khushi" kurbaan kar loonga or something along that line.. which again says that he may sacrifice Khushi, who by then will be his happiness, just for the sake of Anjali..

Many a times in the past be it Arnie, her family and even after Shyam's fiasco she tends to reset her button and start over.

Ratna - I know you have brought this up several times in the past & I meant to respond but I usually get lazy/sleepy after 10pm & let it go😆

Khushi's behavior is not unnatural. I can relate to it to some extent Although Khush's issues are exaggerated for drama😆 I let it go on most occasions & I look perfectly fine in an hour or 2, max a day or 2. For me it truly is an on/off switch. I don't even remember details of instances that hurt me after a couple of years.

It takes a little bit of practice but after a while it comes naturally. It all depends on your outlook; do you want to cry over something that is not in your control or take it in stride and try to be happy? I chose the latter. Corporate world mein bahut kaam aatha hai ye quality...😆😆😆

Great Point Drishti!...But may be not all bad if Khushi does not believe that he really loves her after 6 months...and he has to then really try harder to prove that he does...😃

I have to add, after reading more posts on this Satrurday rainy afternoon..

1. Cradle hold vs. Fireman hold, in essence this was Khushi's "true pagphera", so a cradle hold looked more serene and loving..
The fireman hold will come, more than once in this 6 month contract, but I can definitely see it being applied when Arnav is apologizing, much like I mentioned in my previous post, he may just pick her up like that and take her back like the dhabba scene..

2. Anjali the ant-heroine..
This is my favorite point, yes I hate the character lol! I don't think she'll be an obstacle forever, just till she figures out Shyam's truth she will unconditionally "support him" and choose him over her brother.
I think here's what may happen, before the 6 months, Arnav figures out Khushi's innocence and Shyam's reality and we have some good repentance episodes where he works the miles for her. Reasons why this would work before the 6 months because Khushi is obliged by the contract, she has to stay with Arnav and if Arnav is on a full on repentance spiel, it will make for a killer track and scenes, we'll die lol! Although she won't wont to forgive him, she'll be forced to be with him because of the contract and then we'll see him try even harder to win her back, it will be 24/7! *bliss*

But then, after they have confessed, Anjali will figure it out, yup she'll use that peanut of hers at the wrong time and she will yell at Khushi and insult her and blah blah, and this time Arnav will support her. He'll fight for Khushi and even decide to leave the house with her, but then the ultimatum will spring up, me or her and Khushi will backdown and tell Arnav to go to Anjali. This won't be all bad, we'll get a very nice emotional love scene and he'll love her even more. Eventually it will be Shyam who'll dig his own grave and let it slip, I've always imagined a scene where Khushi will land up getting hurt saving either Arnav or Anjali, and here it seems to be Anjali. This will eventually end Shyam's track (for now...) and we'll see Anjali beg for forgiveness... I can't wait!!! lol

@Sush & docgirl (Sheila if you permit :)). ... 😳 you're both too kind ... just some ramblings of a closet romantic... reminds me of a lovely song from yore "mein shayar to nahi, lekin ay haseen, tujko dekha to shayri aa gayi" ... or something to that effect 😉

@dc yes a huge bookworm ... anywhere from the Classics to current fiction ... reading the latest from Alexander McCall ... would love to get recommendations for new reads 😊

@all it was good to see so many thoughts on the current and future track ... atleast we're out of the land of the vultures ... picking the flesh of poor khushi. I know the drama needs to be stretched but it would nice if they would show khushi attempting to find out the truth and failing as opposed to brushing it off (which I fear) ... Like Drishti I'm still rooting for a separation ... let's see what happens ... atleast the ride has become interesting again 😃

Stupid question, but who are the spice girls ... The IF ones not the Brit pop band 😆

Lurvebooks, absolutely - you can call me Shiela, although docgirl works just fine esp since Sush's thread has so many people flocking to it. It's hard sometimes to keep track of names. I don't read much fiction these days --- hugely non fiction oriented, so Alexander McCall is new to me :)

As for separation - I feel we're definitely going to see it, although not sure when and how. Given the Friday epi, I think we're going to see Khushi getting to the bottom of Arnav's pain --whether she gets a chance to set him straight, I'm not sure. Perhaps circumstances will intervene?
