I know of a real world family that's kinda similar to Jakhars..
Parents and two sons..
The father isn't as bad as Brahma..but is surely a male chauvanist..who treats the wife like crap and keeps giving her a hard time..
Elder son is mentally disabled..but his dad is trying hard to get him married..but the mom is against it..coz she doesn't want to ruin a gal's life by getting her married to him..but she is just supporting her husband..
Younger son is gay and hates marriage..but the parents are forcing him to marry..and looking for gals for him..he has no option of coming out..
There is a Brahma, Devyani and Gaurav in this family..maybe no Adi/Sweetie..
Some families in real life are more dysfunctional than the ones portrayed on TV!
