Khushi felt a sudden pull. She had felt it before, she closed her eyes. Praying that it wasn't.. "No, please" she whispered, at that moment she had opened her eyes and she saw that it was Shyaam who had pulled her towards him. She opened her mouth to scream but instead Shyaam had placed his hands, covering her mouth. She could feel his breath on her face, he was ever so close. She looked into his eyes, full of evil. He smiled and slowly let Khushi out of his grasp, slowing removing the shawl from her body. She took this opportunity to run across to the other side of the roof. "ENOUGH!" yelled Khushi. "ENOUGH, I've had enough of you. Have you no shame?"
"Shame?" asked Shyaam as he caressed her shawl, "What shame? I love you Khushi ji, I'd sacrifice my life for you. Why don't you understand? I know you're married to Arnav but come on, he doesn't look at you the way that I do! He doesn't care about you, like I do! I can give you everything that he can't!"
"STOP! Don't you dare compare yourself to Arnav ji. He is more of a man then you'll ever be! You have a family now; your wife is 5 months pregnant and yet.." As Khushi was yelling at Shyaam, she had a flash back. 5 months ago, on this very roof she was confronted by Shyaam and they had a conversation very similar to this. She had stopped and had broken down into tears "why are you torturing me like this? You make me sick; from the very day I found out about you being married to Anjali di! Why did you get engaged to me? Huh, it was my mistake; I should never have accepted your proposal, how stupid must I have been to trust you? If I had known then that you were married.. huh! YOU MAKE ME SICK!"
Shyaam stood her, smiling at her. "Don't worry Khushi ji, one day you'll be mine. Just wait and see." He walked towards her, breathing her scent in from the shawl. He had extended his arm out and tried to force the shawl back into her hands. Khushi looked at the shawl with disgust, no way was she wearing that again she thought. "I'll never be yours Shyaam ji and I promise you this!" She walked past Shyaam, he tried to grab her again but she escaped his wrath and ran downstairs. Khushi had decided to go to the mandir in the drawing room and stay there for a while until she had calmed down. She closed her eyes and started praying.
Little did Khushi know her prayers had been answered today.
Arnav had heard the full conversation between Khushi and Shyaam and he had just about avoided confrontation by Khushi. He had made it back to his room just in time before Khushi realised he had overheard their conversation. "DAMNIT!" he screamed. "How could I have been so stupid? How? Khushi, I've known her for 9 months yet I doubted her? Why did I have to ruin her life again?" sobbed Arnav. He thought about the time when Khushi had told him that she was no longer engaged; her engagement had been called off, he recalled how much she had cried that day. He shot up and punched the wall "AGH!" he screamed. He vowed that he would make it upto Khushi, one day or another. He will beg for her forgiveness.
5 minutes later, Khushi had walked back into the room. She exchanged looks with Arnav. "Haven't you slept?" she caringly asked. "Urh..mm.. nah, I couldn't sleep" replied Arnav, "Khushi, listen.. don't sleep out by the poolside today; sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the sofa.", "Nah, Arnav ji. It's okay. I prefer it outside." And she was about to walk out with her pillow and blanket Arnav walked towards her, "please, sleep in this room today. Please?". Khushi looked at him, all shocked "please?" she whispered back. At that Arnav had noticed how much weight she had lost, how frail she had become.
Khushi and Arnav are standing in front of each other, will Khushi sleep in the same room as her husband?
Part three:
Khushi was left with an ultimatum, will she sleep in the same room as the man who had forced her into marrying him. The same man who in the eyes of God and the law was her husband. She didn't want to fall for him for the second time, at first she was about to refuse and then she had noticed Arnav's pleading eyes. Why did he look so different today? She thought to herself.
"Khushi, will you sleep in this bedroom today?", asked Arnav. "Arnav ji.. urhm, why? I am happy enough to sleep outside, in case you haven't noticed that's what I've been doing for the past 5 months and 29 days! Now if you don't mind, I am going to go to my rightful place." And she walked out into the poolside without thinking twice. Arnav tried to reach for her but thought it's best to let her be. He realised how much pain and grief he had caused her over the past couple of months, no past year. It's been a year since they first met. He sat down on his bed and thought about the day he had first met Khushi. How beautiful she looked yet he had caused her so much hurt and pain from the moment he had set his eyes on her. He looked towards the right hand side of his bed, the place where Khushi would have been sleeping if he had not misunderstood the whole Shyaam-Khushi situation. He clenched his fists, wanting to beat the crap out of Shyaam. "That snake will pay!" whispered Arnav.
He stood back up and walked towards the slide doors. He saw Khushi resting her head peacefully on her arm. How he wishes he could be with her. He placed his hand on the glass. "How I wish I could travel back in time and clear this misunderstanding!" He headed back to his sofa and rested his head.
The next morning Khushi woke up before Arnav, it was 6am. She headed back to the room and removed her clothes from the wardrobe that had belonged to her for the past 5 and a bit months. One by one she placed her clothes onto the bed. She looked around the room, the room she considered her own. She took out a hand bag from the wardrobe and placed her clothes inside it. A part of her didn't want to leave but then she realised there was a chance to relive her old life, an Arnav-free life. She went to the bathroom to get changed and freshen up before it was time for her to leave. When she came out she noticed Arnav was still asleep.
She snuffled, all of a sudden Arnav open his eyes. The first thing he had noticed was the bag on the bed. "Bag? Huh? What's that bag doing there?", he turned around and saw Khushi. "Khushi? Where are you going?" he asked with a slight confused expression. "Have you forgotten?" barked Khushi, "From today our marriage is over, you are free and so am I. Our contract marriage is finally over!". "WHAT?!" shouted Arnav, how could he have forgotten? "NO! You can't leave, you can't. What will everyone say?! You have to stay!" pleaded Arnav. "Mr Arnav Singh Raizada, no I don't. You can't force me. You promised that you would let me go after 6 months. This marriage had no value to you. And what do you care about what people would say? As if you cared when you brought shame upon me and my family? I am going to leave before Nani, Jiji and Anjali Di wake up. Please look after Anjali Di, she was the first person to accept me in this family. Let her know that I never meant to cause hurt or pain. Never leave her side, always love her baby. That is my only request."
Arnav felt ever so guilty, "please Khushi, don't leave! I beg you!". Khushi looked at him with anger, "You, beg? HA! GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T LEAVE? You have not yet told me why you married me. Why you caused me so much pain and you expect me to stay? Remember Arnav ji, it is you who said that his marriage has no value to you yet here you are begging me to stay. Huh, ironic!" smirked Khushi.
Will Arnav tell Khushi the reason why he had married her? Or will he be willing to lose Khushi for his ego and pride?
Part four:
Arnav gave Khushi a piercing look. She felt her heart go dhakkk dhakkk.. dhakkk dhakkk. She thought to herself, now is not the time for her heart to go dhakk dhakk. She stared at Arnav, "Fine! I'll tell you why I married you" said Arnav. He didn't seem angry nor annoyed, he genuinely wanted Khushi to stay. Khushi was taken aback by Arnav's sudden behaviour. He had told her that he knew about her and Shyaam and that he had misunderstood the whole situation; he realises that he should have asked her before taking such a rushed decision.
She stood in awe, she was fuming. She looked at Arnav and suddenly she pushed him back. Arnav had not expected this. He fell on his back, she kneeled down and started hitting him, "why Arnav ji? Why?" she sobbed. Arnav let her hit him. For the first time he didn't not refrain her from doing so. "Hit me all you want Khushi, I deserve it!" cried Arnav. "No, you deserve something much worse!" shouted Khushi, "much worse, I hate you. I have so much hate for you. You sacrificed my life, my happiness, my relationship with my family just because you misunderstood the situation? Do I mean nothing to you? Oh wait, I don't. That's why you forced me into marrying you. To think I was falling in love with you during Jiji's wedding. I never want to see you again!" She got up, grabbed her bag and opened the door to see Anjali standing there with a saree in her hand.
Both Arnav and Khushi were afraid that Anjali had heard the full conversation, "D..Di.. you, wh..how come you're here so early in the morning?" asked Arnav, he started to panic, "thank God I came at least you guys have stopped arguing! Khushi, why do you have a bag full on clothes in your hand? Where are you going?" at this point Arnav and Khushi had realised that Anjali had not heard the full conversation. "Di.. i..i..i.. I'm just going, home" replied Khushi, she did not know what else to say. Arnav glared at Khushi. "Home?!" asked Anjali, "but Khushi, you can't! Don't you remember, we have guests coming today and tomorrow you promised to take me to the mandir and the day after we we're supposed to go baby shopping, please Khushi, could you not go during another time? Please?"
Arnav looked at Khushi and looked hopeful, now she has to stay he thought. She can't go against Di's word. She'll stay. Khushi looked back at Arnav, "I know married couples have arguments Khushi, but please don't rush off. Go after a week or two, I know you might be missing your family but I need you here.. Please Shyaam is going away for the week.. so please?" begged Anjali and she slipped the saree into Khushi's hand. Khushi didn't want to let Anjali down, she has given her so much love over the past few months she could not go against her word. "Okay Di, I won't go this week" sighed Khushi, she glared back at Arnav, he smiled back at her and grabbed for her bag. "Awwwh Chote, you're so cute, can't live without your wife huh?" asked Anjali.
Part five:
Anjali had left the room. The tension between Khushi and Arnav was so thick that it could be cut with a sharp knife. They both continued to stare at each other. "Khu.." Arnav began to say, "NO! Don't you dare take my name! I can't stand the sight of you!" yelled Khushi. "But Khushi, please try to understand why I did this. I.. I have no one in this world except for my Di. I didn't want Di's child to have the same childhood that I had. I wanted a better life for him/her" Arnav kneeled down beside Khushi, holding on to her hand, "please Khushi, please try to understand". Khushi was tempted to place her left hand on his head. She wanted to comfort him, she gave in. She couldn't stop herself. She lifted her hand and slowly placed it on Arnav's head. At that very moment she had a flashback; she remembered the first time he had kissed her by the poolside; when he had too had placed his hand on her head at the hospital when Bauji was ill.
Arnav was shocked. He looked up with his mouth open. He was speechless. Khushi looked down on him, her tear drop fell down her cheek and onto Arnav's forehead. "Khushi.. will you please give me another chance? Let me..", "Arnav ji, I need time. You have practically destroyed my life but I can't forgive you that easily" cried Khushi, "Khushi, I'll give you all the time you need just don't go yet. Let me prove to you that I'm different. Let me make everything better, I promise I'll always be there for you". "Arnav ji, please don't make any promises, I haven't decided if I want to stay with you. I have only decided to stay a week more because of Anjali Di, or else I would have gone by now. I have to go downstairs and help in the kitchen" and she let Arnav go whereas he was reluctant to let her go but he was forced to. She had left the room.
Arnav smiled to himself, he was glad that he still had a week to prove his love to her and the best thing was Shyaam wouldn't be around. "I'll deal with him later" muttered Arnav "but for now, I need to focus on Khushi". As Khushi was walking down the stairs she came across Mami ji, "hello hi bye bye, oi khoon bhari thang, join phati saree in the kitchen and make breakfast!!". "Yes mami ji" muttered Khushi as she rushed to the kitchen. "Khushi, what's wrong?" asked Payal, she could see her sister lost in thought, "Khushi?". "Jiji, nothing! I am just thinking about what I should make for Arnav Ji to eat" replied Khushi, "Awwwh, Khushi. I am so glad you found someone like Arnav Ji, he's one in a million. At first I thought he was some horrible pe.." "Lard governor" interrupted Khushi. "Nooo Khushi, he's a nice person. I am so glad that he's your husband. Anyway hurry up and help me prepare breakfast for the family" continued Payal. The two sisters gossiped and began to prepare breakfast.
Hariprakash came and took the breakfast to the dining room, most of the family sat down at the dining table. Arnav was coming down the stairs when he realised Khushi was not at the dining table, "Di, where's Khushi?" asked Arnav. "Chote, she claims that she's not hungry. She in the kitchen" replied Anjali. Arnav rushes to the kitchen and hears Khushi muttering to herself, "thanks to that lard governor, I can't eat in peace. I had to make up a stupid excuse about not being hungry, urgh!". "Khushi, come with me. Let's go eat" said Arnav, Khushi suddenly turned around and replied "no Arnav ji, I'm not hungry. You carry on". "No Khushi, I will not eat without you..come wit.." before Arnav could continue, Khushi had interrupted, "no. I said it once and I'll say it again.." but again Arnav had interrupted and grabbed hold of Khushi's hand, pulling her towards him. She tried to resist but soon gave in.
On the kitchen work top there was a plate of rotis and some curry, holding Khushi by her hand Arnav got a plate, placed a roti and some curry on it. He tore the roti, dipped it into the curry and brought it towards Khushi's mouth.
Will Khushi eat the roti? Or will she reject Arnav's sweet gesture?
Part six:
Arnav squeezed her palm and looked at her with his puppy dog eyes. Khushi gazed into his eyes, he has such beautiful eyes she thought to himself. All of a sudden Khushi opened her mouth allowing Arnav to feed her and he did so until Anjali interrupted them, "Ohooo, Chote so this is where you got to? Khushi, didn't you say you weren't hungry? Or did you want Chote to feed you? Hehe". "Nah Anjali Di, I was just.." Khushi began to say until Arnav interrupted her, "actually Di, I wanted to feed my wife. I haven't done so in such a long time and I don't think she's been eating enough! So today I have decided I will take my beautiful wife out to dinner". "Chote, that's such a good idea. You two need a break but the thing is we have guests coming over today" said Anjali, "but Di, they're coming during midday, me and Khushi will go during the evening" said Arnav. "Okay sure, anyway I shall return to the dining room and leave you guys to your romantic moment, the baby is sure hungry" said Anjali, patting her stomach.
As Anjali left Khushi turned towards Arnav and said "Arnav Ji, I won't go with you. I don't want to go" "but why not?" asked Arnav, "it's just a meal out". Khushi stared at Arnav, trying to come up with a legitimate excuse "urhmm.. urhmmm...urhmmm". "Urhmmm? I'll take that as a yes then Khushi?" asked Arnav. "NO!" shouted Khushi, "you always go to some big hotel, I don't like those places". "I know" said Arnav, "that's why we're not going to a big hotel, instead we'll be going to a dhaba. I know you love dhaba food". This had shocked Khushi "you.. and dhaba?", she had burst out laughing "hahahahaha, dhaba? Seriously? Hahahaha". For the first time in ages Arnav had heard Khushi's laughter. It had made him smile. He loved the way she laughed. Although she was laughing at him, he did not mind. He had anticipated this for a while, "so will you go with me?" he asked. The smiled had been wiped off Khushi's face, "fine!" she replied, "only because I love dhaba food. Don't you dare think for a minute I'm doing this to please you. I'm doing it for Anjali Di, I don't want her to think there's anything wrong between us. It's all a drama, remember?". At that very moment Arnav's smile had vanished, and he had started feeling guilty once again.
By midday, the guests had begun rolling in, Payal and Khushi had served them lunch and carried out their wifely duties. Everyone had congratulated Anjali and questioned her whether she had known the sex of the baby, she smiled and replied "no, I want it to be a surprise". Nani was telling Anjali to go and have a nap but she refused and had said "Khushi, you should go and get ready for your romantic meal and I'll see the guests out!". Khushi gently nodded and rushed off to her bedroom. She had worn a shocking red saree, she knew it was Arnav's favourite colour but it was hers as well. She brushed her hair, applied lipstick and eyeliner and worn the very bangles Arnav had given her during Payal's wedding and she was ready. Arnav walked into the room and saw his beautiful wife. He stared at her with his mouth wide open. Khushi barely looked at Arnav and brushed past him and out the room. He quietly followed her. They bid their goodbyes to the Raizada family and Arnav has said "Di, don't wait for us, we might be late".
Arnav opened the car door for his beautiful blushing bride, she glared into his eyes and sat inside the car. He too had joined her. They drove off to the dhaba. No words were exchanged between the two instead both had become nostalgic and begun reminiscing about the times before they were married. Khushi was so lost in thought that she did not even realise that they had reached the dhaba. "Khushi, were here" said Arnav and they had both stepped out the car only to be greeted by the owner of the dhaba and his wife. They had gone to the very same dhaba that they had once stayed at a couple of months ago. "Ohooo, you two are back" shouted the wife of owner, with joy, "come come, what would you like to eat". Khushi was so glad to see her, "aunty, yes we are! And we shall have whatever you make for us!" said Khushi. At this point Khushi was full of excitement and quickly sat down to eat, Arnav had joined her. The owner of the dhaba brought them drinks and the two had gulped it down, little did they know it was bhang, By the time the meal had arrived they had gulped down 6 glasses of bhang between them. Arnav had moved towards Khushi and sat beside her, Khushi had moved onto his lap. His hands were moving towards her waist, she did not resist but were instead interrupted by the owner and his wife, "Hahahaha, kids these days! So romantic and lovey dovey. You two should stay at the very same room you did the last time". Arnav picked Khushi up, well he just about could. He was ever so wasted, so was she and they both gestured to the owner to open the '"honeymoon suite". They could stop laughing and giggling and they both had entered the room. The owner had left them to it.
Arnav placed Khushi onto the bed and moved in for a kiss. Will she kiss him back? Or will she reject him?
Part seven:
Khushi leaned in to kiss, she had suddenly gone from being heavily drunk to completely sober in the space of a few minutes whereas Arnav was still pretty much drunk. She wanted to stop herself but she couldn't, could she? She was so lost in the moment that she didn't want to stop. She could feel his breath on her face, he too had leaned in. Their lips were locked in an embrace and finally after several months the deed was done.
The next morning Arnav had gotten up before Khushi, unsure about what happened the night before he sat up on the bed. He had realised that his clothes were on the floor and so were Khushi's. He stared at them, "what the.. what have we done?" he whispered with a slight smile he then turned to Khushi, she was still asleep. He leaned in to remove her hair from her face when she suddenly opened her eyes. "YOU!" she shouted, "what are you doing in the same bed as me, and under the same quilt?!?!". As she got up, Arnav was trying to stop her from doing so but Khushi being Khushi didn't listen and got up only to realise her clothes were on the floor. Arnav quickly looked away, whereas Khushi started to scream whilst pulling the sheets over her body, "WHY ARE MY CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR? WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING ANY CLOTHES ARNAV JI? WHAT HAVE WE DONE?" shouted Khushi. Arnav looked back at her and said"Khushi, calm down, please. Everyone will hear, and I think we might have just had.." Khushi had interrupted, "Oh nooo!" exclaimed Khushi. "This is ALL your fault" she begun to say, "my fault?!" questioned Arnav. "How is it my fault, if you haven't forgotten Khushi, it takes two people to..". "Yes, I know! But Arnav Ji if you hadn't brought me here then this would have never happened. "Khushi, we haven't done anything wrong! Why don't you get it damnit! We're still husband and wife! Fine, I made a mistake but why don't you try to understand that I'm trying to make it up to you? Do you think the past few months were easy for me? That day when I misunderstood the whole situation, I was hoping to propose to you on that day. I was so in love with you but I ruined everything. My love turned into hate all because I misunderstood the situation but even then I couldn't control myself. Sometimes I could be in the same room as you because I had still loved you and till this day I still do. And I really want us to get over the Shyaam situation and try to build a good marriage. Please!" begged Arnav.
Khushi was so touched by what Arnav had said that she realised that maybe he was actually in love with her. She wanted to give him a chance but should she? She thought about the impact this marriage had on both their families and if she and Arnav did break up, the consequences the families would have to face again. She thought to herself no matter how much she wanted to hate Arnav, she couldn't and she did accept the fact that last night was eventful and that she had enjoyed it. She smiled at Arnav, placed her hand on his cheek, "Arnav Ji..". "Yes Khushi?" asked Arnav. "Arnav Ji, I.. I don't know what to do. I really want to hate you but I can't. Every time I'm near you, my heartbeat changes. I wish you had asked me that night about Shyaam ji, instead of just assuming" said Khushi. "I know Khushi, I hate myself so much. I really need you in my life. I don't want Shyaam to ruin our relationship as well. He's already hurt my Di, and she's unaware of it. Di's baby needs us and so does she. I want that baby to grow up with both you and me by his/her side, a complete family. A mami that will love him/her. And plus I want the baby to grow up with our kids as well" as Arnav said that, Khushi was shocked, kids? She thought to herself. This lard governor wants a family? With me? Maybe he does love me, but kids? It seems as if he's planned our future!.
All of a sudden Khushi let go of the sheets and hugged Arnav. This had shocked him. It wasn't what he was expecting. He expected her to shout at him and threaten to leave him but no, maybe she was on the path of forgiving him. He quickly hugged her back before she had let go of him. He placed his lips of her neck and had kissed her and Khushi had kissed him back on his neck, again shocking Arnav. "Khushi.." he said, "Khushi, you kissed me back? Seriously? Does this mean that you wont leave me?" he looked at Khushi blushing. "I don't know Arnav Ji" replied Khushi "You still have a lot to make up. You have practically tortured me over the past couple of months and I won't forget those events that easily. But for now I will consider." After so long, the old Khushi was back and Arnav was glad to see this.
Back at the Raizada house, Anjali was worried about Khushi and Arnav. She realised that they hadn't come home last night. She rushed to grab her mobile and quickly dailed Arnav's number. "Chote!" she shouted, "Chote, where are you. Why didn't you and Khushi come home last night? Are you okay? Is Khushi okay?" she asked. "Di.." replied Arnav, "Di, we're fine. In fact we're better than fine. We thought, seeing as we didn't have a proper honeymoon, we'd stay back at the place we are and spend some time alone". "Oh" said Anjali, she was quite embarrassed, "well, I'll leave you and Khushi to it but next time, give Khushi my love" and she put the phone down only to see Shyaam had returned. Anjali's face had lit up, "weren't you supposed to come back in 4 days time?" she asked as she went to hug Shyaam. "Yes Rani Saiba, but I could keep away from the thing that keeps me happy (he meant Khushi)" Shyaam replied as he hugged Anjali back, patting her on the stomach. "Rani Saiba, where is my Saleh Saab and Khushi Ji? I don't see them around?" he curiously asked. "Uff, they didn't come home last night, they decided to stay at some hotel and make up for their missed honeymoon, so romantic nah?" smiled Anjali. Shyaam was burning jealousy and fuming with anger. He knew what the pair were upto. It had made him sick. He wanted his Khushi back. The Khushi that was never his in the first place.
Khushi and Arnav had finally stopped their love making and quickly got dressed. Arnav had pulled Khushi towards him and said "for the first time in ages, I actually feel happy", Khushi smiled at him, placing her head on his chest. "But Khushi, I'm glad we are finally attempting to sort out our problems but what about Di? What are we going to do about her and Shyaam?" he asked. "Arnav Ji, Di deserves someone better. Shyaam Ji is a horrible person. We need Di to realise that she could do much better. We need to support her but also we need to come up with a plan. The baby doesn't need someone like Shyaam Ji. We need to expose him. I know in Anjali Di's condition we shouldn't. But I don't know. The thought of him being around Di makes me sick. We must do something" cried Khushi, Arnav nodded in agreement and said, "but what Khushi? What should we do?".
Although Arnav and Khushi are on the verge of solving their problems, they still have one mutual problem, Shyaam. How will they overcome the whole Shyaam dilemma? Will they be able to come up with a plan? Or will they continue on watching him destroy Anjali's life? Stay tuned.
Part eight
Khushi and Arnav had finally returned home after their exotic night only to be welcomed by Shyaam and Anjali. "Chote, finally you two have decided to come home" she said. "Actually Di, you see.. me and Khushi had a lot to catch up on without the family being present. You know, couple stuff" said Arnav smiling at both Anjali and Shyaam. Anjali gave the cute couple a smile, "hehe, I know what you mean" and she winked at them before heading off to the kitchen to fulfil her cravings. Arnav and Khushi were left with Shyaam, he had been eyeing Khushi, he suddenly spotted something on her neck. He realised it was a love bite, not one but he saw several. He then looked at Arnav's neck and he too had them. At this point Shyaam was fuming with anger, he was tempted to punch Arnav and pull Khushi away from him. Arnav had realised what Shyaam had seen so he grabbed Khushi and pulled her towards him. She too had realised what her scheming husband was up to so she played along. "Oh Arnav Ji, not here! Jija ji is here! We shall continue our fiasco in the bedroom!" and she escaped Arnav and ran towards her bedroom. Shyaam clenched his fist which grabbed Arnav's attention, "Saleh Saab, you won't get away with this" he muttered "Khushi Ji is still mine!". Arnav had heard him, "yours? I don't think so Shyaam! She'll always be mine. In fact, thanks to you and your scheming plans to destroy mine and Khushi's relationship, we have gotten even closer than before. And last night was so amaz.." he suddenly stopped, "Oh, I shouldn't be discussing my sex life with my brother in law now, should I?" laughed Arnav as he walked away from Shyaam.
Shyaam retreated to his bedroom, Anjali was sitting on the bed, knitting away whereas he was pacing up and down thinking about what Khushi and Arnav were upto last night. He couldn't handle it, it had made him feel physically sick. "Why are you pacing up and down?" asked Anjali, she was really confused with her husband's behaviour, and without replying Shyaam had walked out the bedroom. Anjali was really surprised, "why is he being like this?" she muttered to herself. She tried not to over analyse the situation and continued her knitting. In the meantime Arnav had entered his room. His eyes were searching for Khushi, she was nowhere to be seen. "Khushi? Khushi where are you? KHUSHI!" he shouted. "Ufff ARNAV JI, I'M HAVING A SHOWER! I'M IN THE BATHROOM!" replied Khushi. Arnav walked towards the bathroom, his hand on the door knob. He reached out to open it, he thought twice. He couldn't control himself and finally he had opened the door only to see Khushi fully dressed and with a big grin on her face.
"HA!" I knew it, she laughed. "I knew you were going to walk in so as soon as I heard you call my name, I quickly got dressed! I know you too well Arnav Ji!". Arnav was quite disappointed with the situation, he neither laughed nor smiled and he just walked out the bathroom. Khushi realised he was sulking, "urgh, what am I going to do with this Lard Governor" she whispered as she walked out the bathroom. Arnav's back was facing Khushi, he was pretending to do something on his phone when suddenly Khushi had grabbed him from the back. Arnav's heart had completely melted but yet he didn't face Khushi. "Arrrnav Ji, guess what?" she asked, he didn't reply; again she asked and yet again he didn't reply. She let go of him and said "fine I only wanted to say that I love you but I guess I won't" she said softly as she walked towards the bedroom door. Arnav had finally registered what his wife had said and he turned round to grab hold of her hand, "say it again" he whispered into her ear, "say that you love me!". Khushi walked towards Arnav, slowly grabbing him by the neck, "I love you Arnav Ji, don't you love me?" she had anticipated his reply but he remained silent.
Why was Arnav being like this? Why didn't he respond to Khushi's gesture? Is he up to no good again?

Khushi was about to let go until Arnav said "I'll love you only on one condition" and then her heart sank. She thought to herself, condition? Again? What is up with this guy and his terms and conditions? Why couldn't he be like a normal husband and not a business man?. "NO!" she shouted, "no more conditions, I've have had it with you and your stupid conditions. No more!" and she left go of her husband. "But Khushi, hear me out first!" he said, "No!" she shouted back. All of a sudden she felt herself being grabbed by the shoulders and before she could respond her and Arnav were facing each other with a distance of 2 inches between them. "You have to hear my condition Khushi" he softly whispered, Khushi was so lost in Arnav's eyes that she just nodded. "From this day onward, you will no longer call me Arnav Ji. Arnav Ji is not your husband" at that point Khushi's world had collapsed, a tear fell from the corner of her eye. Arnav had noticed this but he still continued, "from this day onward you will call me Arnav! Arnav is your husband" and he slowly let go of his grip. Khushi looked at him and suddenly hugged him, "will you agree to my condition? If not, then I won't say I love you" joked Arnav. "I agree, I agree, I agree!" sobbed Khushi and she dug her face into her husband's chest.
Two weeks had pasted since the consummation of their marriage and the deal between Arnav and Khushi. Anjali had decided to hold a religious event at home for her unborn baby, she was heavily pregnant at this stage. Due to her pregnancy, she was extremely hormonal and was shouting at everyone that was in her way; very un-anjali like. "Akash, where's Payal? Have you told her to make sure the guests are seen to?" snapped Anjali, "yes, Di.. I think you should rela..", "How can I relax at a time like this? Seriously Akash! You have no idea what's going through my mind now. Usually I'm in charge of the guests but now, In my condition, ugrh I'm hungry as well; this baby is going to kill me!" cried Anjali and out of nowhere, Khushi popped out with a plate of somosas and pakora's. "Anjali Di, here you go" she said handing the plate over. Akash saw this as an opportunity to escape. "Oh Khushi, you don't realise how much I love you at this very moment" said Anjali and she took a large bite out of the somosa, "come, join me!". "Di! I can't! Remember me and Jiji have to do all the work now that you're pregnant!" laughed Khushi and she walked off.
The whole day was extremely tiring for the Raizada family. Payal and Khushi were in charge of the food with Mami ji constantly bickering in the background "hello hi bye bye! You girls can't do anything right!". The guests complimented Anjali, they agreed that she was glowing. "After all she is my Di, no wonder she's looking wondering!" said Arnav and he leaned in to give his Di a hug. "Oh Chote, I can't wait for my baby to be born! I'm so excited, I have a wonderful husband and now I'll have a proper family!" said Anjali. Arnav clenched his fists when his Di said wonderful husband. He couldn't bare the fact that his sisters husband was just a disgusting cheap man. Suddenly it came to Arnav's attention that Shyaam was nowhere to be seen nor was Khushi. He got worried. "Di I'm coming!", and he rushed off to find his wife. "Payal, have you seen Khushi?" asked Arnav, "nah, she told me she's going to Nani's bedroom. But she's been gone a while now.." replied Payal. Arnav was extremely worried, he ran to Nani's bedroom. It felt like a mile away and as soon as he got there he saw what he had expected. Shyaam trying to confront Khushi for the zillionth time. "Leave me alone Shyaam Ji" cried Khushi, but he had grabbed her hand. Arnav stormed in, "LET HER GO!" he shouted, "SHYAAM LET HER GO NOW!" and within an instant, he had let go of Khushi. Arnav ran towards Shyaam to punch him when Khushi collapsed on the floor. Arnav's attention had diverted from hitting Shyaam to seeing if Khushi was okay. "Khushi?! Khushi! Khushi, get up!". Shyaam was left dumbstruck. He did not move an inch. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY KHUSHI?!" shouted Arnav. All this commotion had attracted the attention of the Raizada family. Everyone ran upstairs apart from Anjali.
"Arnav Bitua, what's happened?!" asked Nani. Arnav looked at Shyaam, and then back at Khushi. "Damad Ji, what's happened to Khushi, somebody tell us!" cried Nani. Even Mamiji looked worried, she walked towards Khushi and saw her lying on the floor. "Hello hi.. Is she okay?" asked Mami "Akash call the doctor, does she need wat.." before she could complete her sentence Payal ran in with a glass of water and sat beside Khushi, "Khushi, wake up Khushi. Arnav Ji, what's happened to her?" cried Payal. Arnav had now pulled Khushi towards him and before he could pick her up, she regained consciousness. "Khushi, oh Khushi.. you're okay!". "Arnav, why is everyone here? What's happened?" said Khushi, looking extremely confused, "did I just pass out?". "Yes" replied Arnav. "Don't worry, I'll call the doctors and you'll be fi..", "I don't need to see the doctor" interrupted Khushi as she pulled herself up. She saw Shyaam was still in the room, she barely made eye contact with him. "Khushi, you need to sit down, sit on the bed" said Arnav, "no Arnav, I'm fine. I'm just a bit.." before she could continue she found herself running towards the bathroom. Arnav ran behind her and SPLAT, she threw up.
"Oh dear.. Arnav. I'm.." she began to say, "you're what Khushi?" asked Arnav, "I think I'm pregnant!" cried Khushi as she hugged him. "Wha..what? Pregnant? But how? I thought we.. wait.. you're pregnant? Oh my, you're pregnant! I'm going to be a daddy?", Arnav asked with a huge grin across his face. "Yeah, and I'm going to be a mummy" sobbed Khushi, "but why are you crying Khushi?" asked Arnav, with a worried look on his face. "Because I'm a baby myself and I'm having a baby" replied Khushi as she wiped her tears on Arnav's top. Arnav burst out laughing, "ohooo, you will always be my baby Khushi and now we're having another baby! Wow, I'm going to be a dad.. Wait, as if I'm going to be a dad! Wow, a little person is going to call me papa!" Arnav was well and truly happy. Khushi could see it in his eyes. "Oh Khushi, you have honestly made me the happiest person alive" and he passionately kissed her. "Arnav, not here. What if Nani and the rest of the family walk in?" and right on cue, they did, included Shyaam and this time Anjali had joined them. "Hello hi bye bye, what happened?! Why is Khushi being sick? I bet it's Payal's cooking!" shouted Mami Ji, Payal looked absolutely horrified and she walked towards Khushi. "Khushi, are you okay? Why are you crying? Why did you throw up?" asked Payal, "Jiji, actually I.. I am..I'm pregnant" cried Khushi.
"WHAT?!" shouted the whole family. "Khushi, you're pregnant? OH MY GOD, Chote is going to be a dad?" shouted Anjali with joy. "Shocking, huh?" smiled Arnav. Everyone apart from Shyaam had walked towards Arnav and Khushi ,congratulating them. Arnav had noticed this, "Jija Ji, aren't you going to congratulate me?" he asked, Shyaam looked at him with absolute hatred and said "ofcourse, but not now!" and he walked off. Arnav was going to let Shyaam ruin his moment and he had returned to Khushi. Everyone was doting on her, Arnav placed his hand on her stomach and she placed hers on top.
While in the other room, Shyaam was alone and was opening his wardrobe. He took out a little bottle labelled poison. "If I can't have Khushi Ji, no one can. I was saving this for Rani Saiba but now I think I might use it on Khushi instead. She's no use to me now. Not when she's carrying that Arnav Singh Raizada's child. It will be so sad to see her go but oh well. It must be done" he said with an evil smile on his face. Unknown to Shyaam, there was someone lurking in the shadows.
Will Shyaam manage to kill Khushi? Will he bring harm to hers and Arnav's unborn child. Who was listening in on his plan. Will Shyaam finally be exposed?
STAY TUNED.
Of course the next update will be in a week's time. Assignments!
Part 10,
I haven't proof read this section so there might be many errors. I hope you enjoy, I've made it extra long to last you guys for two weeks! ENJOY!
Just then Hari Prakash walked in, "Shyaam ji the family are calling you down to drink tea". Shyaam nodded and gestured Hari Prakash to leave. Little did he know that someone had heard his evil plan, but who was it? Arnav and Khushi were busy in their room; Anjali was downstairs; Payal and Akash were getting ready to join the family downstairs and Nani and Mamaji were in the dining room, so that leaves Mamiji. Yes, it was Mamiji who had heard Shyaam's evils plans.
Shyaam had hid the bottle of poison in the wardrobe and made his way downstairs. Just then Mamiji had walked out the shadows "Hello hi, Pathi saree bye bye?" she said as she was left in awe. "Damad ji is a EVAAAL VILLAAAN????!". Not being able to digest this, she sat down on the floor. "Anjali baby is married to an EVAAAL VILLAN?!" and she broke down into tears. "What do I do?!" she asked herself, "damad ji will kill pathi saree and the baby! I must do something for I am Manorma Bond!". Just then she realised she couldn't solve this on her own so as she walked out of Anjali's room she called Payal. "Khooon bhari thaa..I mean PAYAAAL! Bring my cup of tea to my room oh and yours!" she shouted. "I need khoon bhari thang's help, I can't do this by myself or else I'll be a victim on crime patrol" she said worryingly. Payal looked confused, not once did her mother in law invite Payal to her room, let alone drink tea together. Nani and Anjali encouraged Payal to go, "this is your chance to bring your mother in law to your side" said Nani. Payal walked off to Mamiji's room, it was evident from her facial expression that she was scared.
"Maa ji, may I come in?" asked Payal, "YES YES! HURRY UP INSIDE and LAACK the DOOR!" shouted Mamiji. Payal locked the door and placed the tea tray on the bed, "now sit down! I have a lot of questions to ask you and you better not lie to me" snapped Mamiji. Payal sat down and dreaded the Q & A session she was about to have with her mother in law. Mamiji drew out a pen and pad from behind her back and asked, "question 1, what do you think of damad ji?". Payal unsure of what to say, faked a smile and replied "he's okay". "Hmmm, no lies remember? If you lie I will kick you out the house!! AND NO CROKAAADAIL tears" threatened Mamiji, "okay question 2, did you know damad Ji before you met the Raizada family?". Payal hesitated for a bit and confidently she replied "yes, I did". "How?" asked Mamiji, again Payal hesitated just then Mamiji had realised that Payal wasn't a bad person. She wanted to protect both families hence why she had hesitated to answer the questions. "Payal, I really need you to answer my questions. I fear that something bad might happen and if you don't tell me, a lot of people may get hurt" said Mamiji worryingly. Payal looked up at her mother in law, there was something different about her today. Mamiji cupped Payal's face and said "Payal, I may not be the perfect mother in law and I might not like you as much as you'd like but you are my family. And it is my duty to protect my family", within an instance Payal threw herself into her mother in law's arm. "Maa ji, I'll tell you everything you want to know. Ask away" cried Payal. The duo had a long discussion, Mamiji was told everything about Shyaam and his evil antics which left her in shock. "Okay Payal, we might need NK on our side and we need to defeat this pathetic snake, he's ruining my Anjali baby's life and he might hurt Pathi sa.. I mean Khushi". Payal sat there, unsure about what to do began planning with her mother in law.
Now the family had finished drinking their tea and Khushi and Arnav made their way back to their room. "Khushi, I love you" he said as he pulled his wife towards her, "Arnav, you must stop doing this. Just in case we hurt the baby" whispered Khushi as Arnav dug his face into her neck. "Oh shit, the baby! I'm sorry Khushi" and he had let go of his wife which had left her in shock. "Wh.. why did you let me go?! It's not as if we're not allowed to kiss or anything" said Khushi, "yeah but still. We now have the baby to think about and I don't think it's appropriate for us to do anything until the baby is born" muttered Arnav. "So you're willing to wait 9 months?!" laughed Khushi. "Yes, I am" replied a very upset Arnav. "Okay fine, seeing as you loved bets, lets make a bet. I bet you wont be able to cope for 9months, actually scratch that, 9 hours! But if you do, I'll do anything for you and vice versa if you don't" said Khushi as she held out her hand so that they could shake on the bet. Arnav looked very annoyed; he couldn't believe his wife was doing this. "Fine!" shouted Arnav as he shook her hand. He melted whenever he touched her; he knew that he wouldn't be able to cope. He longed for his wife's touch.
Whilst in Anjali's bedroom, Shyaam and Anjali were having an intimate moment. "What's happened to you?!" giggled Anjali "all of a sudden you've gone all romantic". "Oh Rani Saiba, today I've realised how lucky I am and today I feel as if something amazing is going to happen" replied Shyaam. In his head he had planned that today he will get rid of Khushi, the quicker the better. "What are you thinking?" enquired Anjali, just as Shyaam was about to reply his phone rang. "What do you mean I have to come in today?" shouted Shyaam "fine, give me 20mins, I'll be there soon!" . "What's wrong?" asked Anjali, "I have to go into the office, I have an important client waiting to see me" replied an angry Shyaam "but when I come back, we shall continue where we left off" and he walked off. Anjali followed behind him and asked him to drop her off to the mandir as he was going to drive past it.
Just then Manorma Bond and her her side kick, Payal had appeared out of nowhere, "Payal you keep a look out while I swap this vial filled with normal water for the poisonous one" and she snuck into the room. Payal stood out the room hoping that no one would walk past and ask her why she's standing there and suddenly Akash appeared out of his room. "Payal, why are you standing outside Di's bedroom?" he asked. "Akash, actually I..I..I..", "she was waiting for me!" replied Mamiji "I told her to wait outside as I wanted to borrow one of Anjali's saree so I needed Payal to carry it for me to my bedroom but I couldn't find the one that I wanted" and Mamiji ran to her bedroom hiding the vial under her achaal. "Now I must get rid of this" she muttered.
During dinner.
Once again the whole family were getting ready to eat dinner. Shyaam had returned from the meeting and made his way to the bedroom and retrieve the vial of "poison". He ran downstairs, made sure the coast was clear and slipped the poison into Khushi's cup. Little did he know Mamiji was keeping a close eye on him. "Mamiji, why are you standing there?! Come come, let's eat, Hari Prakash, call everyone. I'm hungry" smiled Shyaam. "Hello hi bye bye" muttered Mamiji, "I'll make sure you're always hungry. I'll make sure you end up eating the food that they serve in jails". "Mamiji, did you say anything?!" asked a confused Shyaam. "No.. Da...ma...ad...ji. Nothing, let's eat." Said Mamiji.
"Ooo, lot's of yummy food!" shouted a very happy Khushi. "Yummmyyy" she filled hers and Arnav's plate. Arnav smiled at Khushi, he had admired how the simplest things in life had made her happy. Gobble gobble and she finished her plate of food. Anjali laughed at her and said "Khushiii.. me and you are the same!", holding up her empty plate. "But Di, I haven't finished yet!" said Khushi, "Oh yes Di, my Khushi darling needs her jalebi's now" smiled Arnav as he held out a plate of jalebi's to his wife. Again Khushi had gobbled 5 jabeli's in a space of 2 minutes, causing her to choke. "Uff, Khushi! You need to eat slowly next time" frowned Arnav as he was feeding her water from her cup.
Shyaam smiled to himself and thought "aha! How sad, Arnav will be the one to kill her. If anything happens, we have a lot of witness here and they'll find out that it was Arnav who had killed her. So sad!". Mamiji was looking at Shyaam, she knew what he was thinking, "Damad Ji, why are you smiling?" she asked. And all attention drew to him, "a...ac...actually looking at saleh saab and Khushi ji reminded me of me and Anjali" lied Shyaam. He was waiting.. waiting for the poison to take it's effect. The family had completed eating and had started to get up and wake away from the table. Even Khushi was able to stand on her own two feet. "Why isn't anything happening to her?!" Shyaam wondered and he saw Khushi and Arnav walk away hand in hand. He stood there scratching his head. Mamiji stood in the corner, laughing at Shyaam, "hello hi bye bye, I am too ISHHHMART for you damad ji!!".
Back in Arnav and Khushi's bedroom, Khushi was out to seduce her husband. She wore a exotic night dress whilst Arnav was freshening up in the bathroom. She placed herself on the bed with her back facing the bathroom door. Arnav walked out the bathroom and this first thing that had caught his eye was his wife's body. "Khushi. What are you wearing?" gulped Arnav. "Oh Arnav ji, it's too much isn't it? I mean I was feeling a bit hot so I thought I should wear this" mocked Khushi. Arnav tried to avoid looking at his wife, but he couldn't. He lay down beside her on the bed without facing her. She slipped her hand on his waist and pulled his body towards her. At first he seemed reluctant but the he gave in, "Khushi, i..". "Arnav, shhh.. don't ruin this moment" she whispered. He moved in for a kiss then finally they had kissed and within a second they broke the embrace. "YAAAY!" jumped Khushi, "I WON THE BET! YAAAY!". "What the?!" said an annoyed Arnav and he faced the other side, ignoring Khushi. Khushi, completely unaware that her husband was irritated. "Uff Arnav, c'mon don't be a baby!" said Khushi as soon as she saw her husband having a hissy fit. "Fine, if you're going to be like this then I'm going to sleep on the recliner" she threatened. "NO!" shouted Arnav, as he faced his wife. He pulled her towards him and said, "but I am aren't i?". "What do you mean?" asked a confused Khushi. "I'm you're baby aren't I?" said Arnav rephrasing his sentence. "Ohooo, ofcourse! You'll always be my baby Arnav. But now I have two babies. My big baby and my small baby" smiled Khushi as she patted her belly. Arnav moved on top of Khushi and once again had engaged in an intimate moment.
The next morning, Khushi had woken up at 6am, suffering from morning sickness. Arnav jumped up from the bedroom as soon as he heard his wife throw up. "Khushi, Khushi are you okay?" asked a worried Arnav. "Yes Arnav, it's just a bit of morning sickness, I'll be fine" replied a weak Khushi. Arnav guided Khushi back to bed and had sat beside her. She snuggled into him. He placed one arm around her and the other hand on her stomach. "Oh Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, I love you!" murmured Arnav, "Arnav Singh Raizada, I love you too" said a very drowsy Khushi.
It was 8am. The family were getting ready to get on with their daily chores. Mamiji had devised a plan over night. She snuck out a small packet from under her achaal and emptied the contents out into a glass of lemonade. She then took the lemonade out on a tray with 9 other glasses. She had kept her eye on the spiked glass. "I have made FRESHHH lemonade" she squealed. She handed out a glass to each person and the spiked glass she gave it to Shyaam. Little did he know it was spiked with laxatives which will loosen his bowel moments. He gulped down the drink in one go "wahhh Mamiji, this is some yummy lemonade" he exclaimed and within seconds his stomach started to rumble.
"Yes masi jiii.. THIS IS SO AMAZING. Feels as if I'm having American lemonade. So nice" said NK smacking his lips. Arnav and Akash had gotten up from the dining table, ready to go to the office. They kissed their wives goodbye and left. "Khushi bhabiii, let's do something fun today!" said NK. "Naane ji, I am ever so tired. I think I need to have a nap. I'm sorry I'll talk to you later" said a tired Khushi. Anjali had also decided to join Khushi and they both walked off. "Okay then.." said NK to himself, "NANI! Let's go out!". "NK, not today! I need to go to the mandir today, I'm sorry. Maybe another day!" said Nani. Everyone was rejecting NK. Then he had turned to Shyaam, before he could say anything he saw Shyaam grab hold of his stomach and run to the bathroom. "Sooo.. nobody wants to hang out with me?" muttered NK, "great!". He then spotted Payal and Mami ji muttering something secretly. They looked shifty. He decided to eavesdrop. "I put some laxatives in damad ji's juice" sniggered Mamiji, as usual Payal looked worried. "WHATTT!" shouted NK. Mamiji and Payal exchanged looks with each other and had decided to recruit NK as another sidekick. After NK had been filled in about Shyaam, he sat there with his hand on his head. "Oh no masi jiii.. what do we do?!" he asked. "Well NK, I am Manorma Bond, and I will come up with an idea, but I need your help! LET'S PLAN!" and the three decided to go to the roof to come up with a scheming plan. Away from the family.
Will Mamiji, Payal and NK come up with a good enough plan to reveal Shyaam's true colours? Or will Shyaam discover and sabotage them?
Update 11
Shyaam had sat down on his bed after his 20th visit to the loo. He was unable to understand why he suddenly got diarrhoea, "this is not good. I need to advance on my plans to hurt Khushi Ji but what should I do? Hmmm.." and he began to ponder. "Eureka!" he exclaimed. "I know, I shall kidnap Arnav, this is the only way I can actually hurt Khushi. He's flying out to London next week anyway so I shall just threaten him to meet me and BAM! Kidnap!". The evil man gave out a little chuckle, again unknown to him walls had ears, in this case Mami ji, NK and Payal were all spying on him by pressing their ears against a wall via a glass. "OH NO MASI JI! KIDNAP!? OH NO NO NO! We're going to be on crime patrol, I can sense it! Cute American boy dead saving his cousin. Hot shot Mami in a coma. Newly wedded bride's body nowhere to be found!" cried NK. Mami and Payal exchanged looks, it was evident that they were scared and they both made a mental note not to watch crime patrol ever again. "AH SHAAT UP NK! Why you forget I is Manorma Bond? I am one step ahead of that sna..." however before Mami could continue her sentence Shyaam had walked into the room and said "Areee Mami, what are you upto? I was a bit bored so I thought I'd come and chat to you". Mami was scared as she grabbed onto Payals hand as the snake slithered into the room. Payal knew it was her time to shine and so said "actually me and maa ji were planning on discussing which sarees to wear, we were thinking of getting NK to give us a trial but seeing as you're here. You might as well hel..".. "NO NO!" shouted Shyaam, "It's okay, sorry to disturb you guys. Carry on" and he turned around with a disgusted look.
"Great going Payal bhabi" laughed NK. "Yes, yes, you have to see who's bahu she is na?" smiled Mami. The three then began to devise a plan to stop Shyaam from kidnapping Arnav. By this time Arnav had returned from work, the first thing he did was run upto see Khushi. As he walked in he noticed that she was sleeping. He walked towards her, sat down on the bed beside her and again began to recall how much he hurt her in the past and how he would be leaving her in a matter of few days. But not only her, but also his baby. He slowly moved his hand towards Khushi's stomach. Khushi was already aware of Arnav's presence and had smiled. "You're back already?" she asked without opening her eyes. "How did you know?" asked a shocked Arnav, "I can feel your presence, your touch, whenever you're in the room my heart beat".."Increases" said Arnav, completing her sentence. Khushi finally opened her eyes, she seemed really upset. "What's wrong?" asked a Arnav, he had a fearful look on his face. "I can't believe you're leaving me for London, please take me with you?" cried Khushi. "Khushi, you know you cant travel in the first few weeks of your pregnancy. Don't worry, I've cut my trip short, I'll only be there for 3 days, maximum 4" said Arnav as he cupped Khushi's face. This had still not comforted Khushi, she hated being away from Arnav, as she only ever felt safe with him around. "But still..", "No khushi, no if's and no buts. However, at least then you can sleep because you wont be getting much when I'm back" he said with a cheeky smile.
For the next few days Khushi just huffed and puffed like the big bad wolf. It was pretty obvious that Arnav would not give into letting her go with him. Finally she accepted reality and began to help him pack. On the day of Arnav's flight everyone was preparing to drop him off but he simply told everyone that there was no need plus he would be meeting Amaan at the airport. Khushi protested yet Arnav did not give in. "No Khushi, I said it once and I'll say it again. You are not coming to the airport with me. Final". Before Khushi could protest, Arnav kissed her good bye and walked out. He noticed that NK, Payal and Mami were also outside walking towards their other car. "Mami Ji, what are you doing here?!" asked a curious Arnav. "Hello Hi stopping you from Bye Bye.. I mean, we're just going to the MAAAL, you know.. I needsss new dresses!" laugh Mami Ji and the three hurried off into their car and set off. "What the.. strange people!" muttered Arnav.
Little did Arnav know that Shyaam was waiting for him at the airport. "HAHAHA, today Arnav Singh Raizada will die". However Shyaam was not as smart as he thought because the troublesome detectives, Mami and her crew had also reached the airport and were on standby in their designated places "I am not letting that snake touch my nephew..ever.. over my... dead body.. hello hi, i'll make .. him.. bye bye" muttered Mami. Their plan was to kidnap Shyaam instead, however they knew that this wouldn't work. But they all agreed that it was time for them to finally expose Shyaam, it would be for Anjali's benefit as she deserved to be with a decent man.
Arnav had reached the airport, the driver had got him a trolley for his luggage, "Okay you can go now" said Arnav to the driver as he was trying to call Amaan. "Stupid network, why is there never any network at the airport". As he walked towards the main entrance he stopped Shyaam. Suddenly his blood pressure had increased and he had confronted him. "What the.. what are you doing here?" demanded Arnav. "Well, I'll cut to the chase, if you don't come with me right now I will actually hurt your wife. Don't think I haven't tried already" smiled Shyaam, "don't speak a word or your darling Khushi will die". Arnav was too scared to say anything, all he felt like doing was hurting Shyaam. How dare he even mention Khushi. Arnav quietly got into the car without uttering a single word. He mind was all over the place, Khushi was pregnant. What if this sicko actually hurt her? What would happen? Damn it Arnav, you should have brought her with you. How could you think she would be safe in the house without him. Arnav was now blaming himself and yet again feeling guilty. He failed to notice where Shyaam had taken him.
"We're here!" smiled Shyaam "now don't you dare get out the car. Little did Shyaam know that he was being followed by Mami and her crew but also but another individual. Who was it? Khushi? Akaash?
