Hello Party People 😃

First of all...thanks for the lovely welcome to the forum you all gave me!! you guys are awesome!! 😳,...now...just a few things as i get started on the forum...im sure you guys are all familiar with the IF COC (IF Code of Conduct)...they are basically rules that MUST BE FOLLOWED by all the members on IF...no exception...but...since im new here...i just thought id post some of the major rules...just as an FYI...to maybe refresh some memories...and for any new members...just to let them know what IF expects from its members...so here are a few basic rules...also the most common rules broken on IF...

New Topics-Before posting a new topic, check using the search button to see its not posted already otherwise your topic would be deleted or closed.

No Update Requests-Please be patient. Do not create topics asking for written/video/picture updates. The updates will be posted as per the updater's convenience.

Updating-We already have a regular updater, however, there are days that they are now able to update. When a situation like that happens please PM me (jnawaz) before posting the update. Anyone posting the updates without permission his/her post will be trashed. On that note, anyone interested in being a backup updater, please PM me ASAP.

No Advertising-Videos from other forums/websites containing the website logo are not allowed. If found doing so the topic will be trashed & a PM will be send. If you continue to do so even then your warning level will be raised. Also posting links from IF in other forums is strictly prohibited.

**No Personal Attacks/Bashing-IF is a free forum & everyone have rights to put in their views/thoughts but one should see to it the comments made by him/her does not hurt anyone else. Do not use offensive or foul words. If you don't like a character that does not means you can use offensive or foul language. Abusing any actor/member, passing comments on physical features of any celebrity or doing any direct or indirect personal attack on member is strictly prohibited. Bashing up any actor/member is against IF codes & conducts. If we find any member bashing up or instigating fight in the forum a warning PM will be send & if they continue to do so their warning level will be raised.

Posting Articles-Before posting any article please check using Search to make sure that it has not been posted before. IF has launches its own news hub Telly Buzz. We are now in direct competition with IndianTelevision & Telly Chakkar. See to it you do not post articles from these two websites. Do not post articles from Telly Buzz directly on forum. Provide link to the article. Provide the source of the articles posted from other website.

Topics of Comparison-Please refrain yourself from creating topics that may lead into fights. Topics like 'Who is better suited for the role' or 'Which show is better' or 'Who looks good' etc. Such topics will be closed down.

No Spamming- We often see members replying individually to 5-6 replies. This is considered spamming. Please use @ format to reply. Once in a while it's fine but not always. Avoid doing so. Don't spam any thread repeatedly with emotions.

No Chatting- Refrain yourself from chatting on the forum. Don't to start your personal chats in threads opened for various subjects/discussion topics. Please try to stick to the topic title when posting replies. If you want to can create a separate thread in chat Club section & chat there but chatting in discussion topic is a big NO.

Emotions-Do not type message or post reply full of emotions only. Emotions are used to emphasize how you feel when words alone aren't enough. They serve as 'add-ons' to your message BUT it doesn't mean that you are to type a whole line of Emoticons alone, without a single word or phrase (e.g. '')! Messages containing only emotions will be deleted.

Quoting Posts/Members-Don't quote long posts especially when it messes up the coding which makes it look bad. If you want to reply to someone use the @ format like @A: , @B: & so on.

Query/Help Desk-If you have any queries regarding the show then please post it in the Help Desk: Any questions? We will definitely try our best to help out there.

Reaching Dev Team Members & Forum Organization

1. REPORT...REPORT...REPORT
i cannot stress enough how important it is to hit the REPORT button. That button is there for a reason. DT members have so many other committments other than IF, but thats not to say that the committments are any more or less important than IF. What i am saying is that when we come on we are maybe on quickly to see if everything is Ok...when nothing is reported we think aal izz well and we leave. By hitting that REPORT button, its the first thing we see when we log on, we cant miss it. If after reporting it the issue isnt tended to or if you're unhappy with the way it was taken care of, please PM us so that we can take care of it. On a side note, the "report" button is not something used to leave comments (which we see more often then not).

2. PM DT IF ISSUE NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION
If an issues is so great that it needs immediate attention, please PM one of the DT members. If you're not getting a response PM all of us, we dont mind. Its better that ALL of us know whats going on and what the issues are then just ONE of us knowing and having all the burden on their shoulders alone.

3. CLOSED TOPICS
If any topic and/or comment breaks any of the rules stated in the "Uttaran forum rules" section of this post, it will be immediately closed or the inappropriate comments will be trashed. Like i said, there is no place for bashing or name calling on the forum that includes attacking members. Breaking rules results in closed topics - its as simple as that.
