Thy way, Not Mine, O Lord!

Considering that everyone on KYPH have always had their way......and invariably suffered! Be it Kripa who despite all apparent warnings, went ahead with cementing her love for Angad, who inturn, knowing the truth in his heart, chose to incriminate Kripa mercilessly, Harshini, who despite being aware that Kripa did not betray her, destroyed her life with one lie, Naina, who despite being a Mother, overlooked her son's happiness for his career, Mishti, who chose to overlook the pain in Angad's eyes for her whim to have him at any cost, Prithvi who deliberately wants to burn in agony by marrying a woman whom he knows shall never return his love.

This poem is for all these people, who should stop always doing what they want and leave some decisions on God!

------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------

Thy way, not mine, O Lord,
however dark it be;
lead me by thine own hand,
choose out the path for me.

Smooth let it be or rough,
it will be still the best;
winding or straight, it leads
right onward to thy rest.

I dare not choose my lot;
I would not, if I might;
choose thou for me, my God,
so I shall walk aright.

The kingdom that I seek
is thine; so let the way
that leads to it be thine,
else I must surely stray.

Take thou my cup, and it
with joy or sorrow fill,
as best to thee may seem;
choose thou my good and ill.

Choose thou for me my friends,
my sickness or my health;
choose thou my cares for me
my poverty or wealth.

Not mine, not mine the choice
in things or great or small;
be thou my Guide, my Strength
my wisdom and my all.

Cheers and Love,

Chilly

This so beautiful, Chills. Who is the poet....wait a minute, is it from the Bible?

You do have a point, we should let things be at times...let God handle it for you.But! There is a big "but" here.I guess human-beings just can't help being utter mortals.

Not mine, not mine the choice
in things or great or small;
be thou my Guide, my Strength
my wisdom and my all

Thanks Nits.

Yeah, its quoted from the Holy Bible!

As they say, to err is human, to forgive is divine!

Angad is as human as one could be, he chose to overlook Kripa's love but incriminate her for her so-called crime........Kripa chose to overlook Angad's ruthlessness against her and is still awaiting him to return...........will Kripa be divine and forgive him?

very nice chilly really enlightening

hey i think all of them shud learn that there are certain time when u just let go

cause when u let go then god handles everything for u

but then u have to let go first and trust him

heres some nice thing...

As children bring their broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because He was my Friend.

But then, instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.
At last I snatched them back and cried, "How could You be so slow?"
"My child," He said, "what could I do?
You never did let go?"

Hi Chillo, Wonderful words from Holy Bible!!

Like God, we should also forgive, not merely by forgetting, but by loving. With the heat of Kripa's love it will melt the ice of Angad's sin; and so it is the heat of her love that will bring about the forgiveness for Angad. Such forgiveness is an action purely divine, even when it's done by humans. Such forgiveness is possible only by humans who are being divinized & Kripa is one of those, up till now, who knows she may do a 180 on Ekta's whims & fancy!

Imemyself, very good, really we never let go!!

The day Dadi brought Angad with her to sort out things with Kripa, maybe then, she would have forgiven him....but what did he do? Humiliated her all over again....then followed Angad's regular Kripa-bashing session.He'll go worse on Monday, it seems.

All Angad's wrong-doings have piled up inside Kripa....the man she loves the most has hurt her the most...almost finishing life inside her.Kripa could have been divine enough to forgive him....but she'll choose not to be.This time round, Angad has to pay....BIGTIME.

I think the reason that Kripa will not forgive Angad is because she will loser her baby..................it seems that she is willing to forgo of everything for Angad's sake, even her self-worth, but not the loss of her child!

That will do for him............the path of no return for Kripa and the path of no forgiveness for Kripa!

Cheers,

Chilly

That gives me a horrible thought! What if somehow, Angad is linked with Kripa's accident? Ouch!

Angad is linked to Kripa's accident in every way................just because he won't be behind the wheels that hit her, does not absolve him of his crime. He is fully and wholly responsible for her accident, both physical and emotional!

Its only after Angad lashes his sound and fury on her once again and probably puts sindoor on her forehead, she will so rattled that she will lose sense of herself and wander aimlessly in the road.............and get hit and run!

Angad....................wait and see, Prithvi is coming after you to grab your neck!
