Khushi entered her room with a blanket and a pillow Anjali had given her. She told Anjali that she needed an extra blanket and pillow as the ones in her room were not comfortable. Though Anjali was a bit suspicious she didn't question Khushi, In fact, She didn't speak at all. She was still upset.
Even Nani was very angry with Khushi .And why wouldn't she be? This wasn't expected from a girl like Khushi at all. Khushi was sad to see everyone upset with her and how they kept asking her the reason for the marriage . But how could she answer those questions when she herself doesn't know the answers? She asked these questions to Arnav in the morning too but he gave some strange twisted reply and went away.
Anjali, though upset was helping Khushi a lot. At least more than her own Sister. Everytime Khushi looked at Anjali ,her heart filled with sorrow.
How long will the truth be hidden? How long ? Some day Anjali will come to know the truth and Khushi hoped the day came soon because she saw Anjali's faith and love for Shyam grew more by every passing day.
She sat on the bed and cried for ten minutes . Then she got up, Went to the poolside , Put a bedsheet there and kept the pillow on it and kept her blanket also. Then she kept a bottle of water and some jalebi's she bought on a small stool near her 'bed'.
"It's okay. Sleeping here is not at all a bad idea and it's just for six months . I will think of it as an adventure and it will be even more fun." She thought to herself
Then she went to the room. Made the bed for Arnav and kept a bottle of water on the side table.
It was quite late so she went to sleep and kept the door unlocked because she knew Arnav might return anytime .
She was tired that time and it didn't take her more than 1 minute to fall asleep.
Anjali- Oh my god! I forgot to tell Khushiji that we have to go to the mandir tomorrow. Let me inform her.
She walked towards Khushi's room and opened the door.
EMPTY
She entered and looked around and what she left her shocked.
Khushi sleeping at the poolside and she saw the jalebi's kept there .
Now she understood why Khushi asked for an extra blanket .There was something going on between Arnav and Khushi and its definitely not love. She had to find out! She turned to leave when she saw Arnav at the door.
She went up to him and gave him a tigh *Slap*
"This is disgusting Chotay! How can you do this to anyone?Do you have anything to say?
You left a girl ,your own wife, to freeze. But Why? Why did you marry her if you didn't want to live together? I have to know the truth! However painful It is and Khushi is not sleeping there anymore."
She went to the poolside and woke Khushi up.
She cupped Khushi's face with her hand and asked- "What is this Khushiji? At least you tell me! Arnav is not even bothered about me now and he thinks I am useless now . He thinks its unnecessary to tell me anything. But you can tell me right?! Please tell me whats wrong!
Khushi stared and stared and spoke nothing and finally Anjali spoke- You wont tell me?
Khushi didn't even open her mouth.
Anjali-Khushiji you come with me , you sleep with me in my room .Let Arnav sleep with his jiju tonight .
Arnav- NO Di! This girl is just trying to gain sympathy . Take her with you anyways 'Mujhe koi farak nahi padta!
Anjali- I know it doesn't make a difference to you Chotay and I have find out the reason soon!
Now I am sending your Jeeju here and make sure you don't trouble him at night chotay, He has a case tomorrow.
