Suhana's Corner: What should I do?

Hi everyone, my family has been very supportive of my acting career. Ishaan too is happy about my work and encourages me quite a lot, but I feel that everyone in the family is not too comfortable about it, especially Maa.

I have been quite excited about working in serials. Though the character I am playing is unlike me but I am having fun enacting it. Sometimes, I voice my feelings to the director if I have a different opinion about the scene. I mean how Gauri can quietly take the scolding of her mother-in-law. But I have to agree to his point of view and act the way he wants me to. So far so good!

The whole family was very excited to watch my serial when it aired the first day but I am getting a feeling that Maa isn't happy about my acting. She is worried that the neighbours are gossiping about my coming home late from work or being out the whole day. I am unable to give more time to Ishaan but am thankful that he understands me and my work requirements. It was very caring of him to come and pick me up from the sets.

Ishaan is very proud of my work but I have an uneasy feeling because I do not want to do anything that may upset my family in any way. He wasn't initially happy about my acting in serials but later when Dadaji and Badi Maasupported me, he agreed. Now, I just hope Maa would not worry so much. I am really confused about what to do next.
