There were plenty of beautiful sequences today -
****Anjali telling Khushi can't become bahu without completing the rasams****
Khushi got tormented on Anjali's words, how similar it was when Arnav said she will never become his 'biwi'.. Dangling without hold, she questioned everyone and everything. She displayed a silent mutiny. Arnav stood up in defence - ready to wipe the smirk on Shyam's face and put an end to the current state of affairs..
When Anjali completed the sentence about the rasams, it was as a sad surprise on Arnav - he knew his sister will finally accept, but his sister showed the moment of defiance on how she was hurt by his silence... To Khushi, Anjali's words were the first normal words anyone spoke to her, since their sudden marriage.. The first outward medicene, no where close to the internal wound.. but it was the first words spoken to her without anger.. The moment was bittersweet for her..
Khushi and Arnav's eyelock - Khushi questioning him on why - the sham of the wedding and now the rasams.. questioning him on why he is hurting so many people around.. His silence deafening to her and his sister.. He was having a thought of reflection, this could have all been done but differently... A past yearning..
It is worth to see Shyam having the smirk wiped off amid all their silence...
***Khushi's sad reflection****
Khushi sad reflection on a happy wedding, but yet her mother's words offering her a ray of hope - that after her wedding, she will be eternally happy, It does'nt matter, as long as your companion is a good person.. A ray of hope - a thought in her, Arnav is good, beyond all what is happening... The eternal optimist, that she is, she accepts the wedding. A balm that at least she is getting a bit of respect for her wedding, her beliefs.. Her acceptance, that Arnav indeed is her bittersweet 'rajkumar', And then drawn into the memory of the sham wedding and her anger sprouts..
****Arnav-Khushi moment in the room****
Arnav understands the silent mutiny and angry question in her eyes, but he is not willing to answer.. not willing to put it out forth, not wanting to know the truth.. Almost as if he is taking the wedding as a punishment to both him and her..
****Anjali-Arnav-Khushi sequence****
The first time knock Anjali knocked on Arnav's open door.. It was very interesting to see this.. The distance in the brother-sister relationship and the closeness of Arhi.. The silent mutiny again between Arnav and Anjali.. Khushi observes it first hand.. First time, she can't comprehend Arnav showing this distance towards Anjali.. Why did he create such a sham of a wedding, hurting Anjali, who is the world to Arnav.. She thinks, she ponders, but she gets practical too.. The first time, Anjali does'nt talk to Arnav.. and he does'nt go behind her to pacify her... It was a very interesting moment..
****The bangle sequence between Arhi***
The sounds, the screaming reminder of their sweet moments, their lost and unspoken love, The sounds deafening to him, he wants to forget the sweet moment of realization, of the hurt that it caused, A lingering moment for Khushi on the bangles, questioning again and again, what happened, why the 6 month wedding..
****The necklace sequence****
It signified on how the whole wedding had choked her up! How she is just living in the shell.. How she hates how things have happened, and his instinctive reaction on her pain showed his underlying love defined beyond words.. Khushi was surprised on what she was seeing.. And helpless and scared he may go weak on his feelings, he walks away... Khushi showed her puzzlement beyond her problems - his care, his defense against his family, the rift between Arnav and Anjali and the 6 month clause... Nothing was falling into place..
****The grahapravesh sequence****
Arnav was hiding all his love under a facade, and her eyes questioned him repeatedly.Silent acceptance to do the rasam, both reminded of the sweet and tormenting moments in their life so far, Anrav questions - why did she.. Khushi questions - why did he - both turning away with misunderstanding.. Both wish it was not this way..
There was a silent question from Anjali.. Khushi silently requesting for acceptance, Arnav had a silent refusal.. It was all there... Payal's tears of helplessness was also there today - her sadness - What should/could have been a happy moment in Khushi's life is so sad, why did Khushi do this.
****The paramphara rasam****
Khushi and Arnav exchange a look, both know how they feel when they touch each other - a silent refusal from her - a blunt refusal from Arnav - But they do it.. He waits after the hold - waiting for her to be ready... his face a facade, both of them running wild with emotions.. He daring not to look at her, worried that his mask will slip, and she questioning him again and again.. His jerkful drop was more a jerk to himself to get out of his weakening emotions.
The earing caught in his coat was a touch - asking Khushi to listen to the his heart, over his stern and stone walled face.. His forceful way of pulling her hand away to fix the problem suggested a 'right' which surprised both of them..
The last scene of Shyam doing the flowers for SR - was just poetic justice...
Done with my rantings.. It was a silent episode brimming/boiling with unanswered questions and Arhi's journey continues..
