1st Crush!

I am sure everyone have a crush on someone in thier life time. For example I had crush on alot of different people, including Armaan, Angad, Ashmit, hiten, Hrithik Roshan, SRK and many boys at my school

I think it was Samir, cause that was just a crush she didn't really loved him. She only loved armaan.

Hi princessno1! We all have 1st crush one time or another but sometimes our crush is like our worship. We have this crush that we can't seem to touch or see but just feel. I also had couple crush but I have to say none like I have for our Armaan Sir because just by watching the show I started to write shayaris. So you know he also influences us in many good ways, and sometimes my husband just get tired of me because I keep on talking about our Armaan Sir.

I'm a bit confused and maybe you guys and clarify.

What is a "Crush" Vs an "Infatuation"? I mean I understand we ladies come across a lot of fine looking dashing you men in our lives. These men range from the milkman, to the shoe salesmen, to our cute friend next door, to Shahrukh Khan, and even the guys selling Nirma on TV.

So at any given point, we don't know who's going to get the butterflies in our stomachs and the birds chirping in our heads.

My point is that if each and every guy starts resulting in those reactions within us, are they all crushes????

Am I safe to say that a "Crush" is more of a "reality reaction"? Like we may have crushes on the guys next door, the milk man, or the salesman. Because in our minds we already know that the chances of our crushes turning into love are far greater than with Shahruk Khan or the guy selling Nirma.

The crush may happen not too often, and is over very selective.

On the other hand....an infatuation is similar to a major crush in the sense, that there is this element that it's an "unrealistic" liking towards a person, but in pits of out hearts we know that it's unattainable. Thus, this makes the reaction very common. We may have many many more infatuations but very few crushes.

A lot of women are married on this forum, but they're very open to admitting to the fact that they "love" armaan and that he looks adorable. This is an infatuation not to the person itself, but more towards the character that he plays on the show.

If you have a crush on someone, it's a lot more serious than just an infatuation. I feel that crushes are the first step in preparing yourself mentally and physically to get emotionally connected to another person.

So what you guys are feeling are more along the lines of an infatuation, not so much a crush.

What are your thoughts?

I also had a huge crush on Armaan and then Angad. I always talk about them, they even come in my dreams. I don't know why!

Hi Peaches nice post reply. Just my opinion between crush, and infatuation. I strongly feel that crush is overwheling that we submerge in but on the other hand infatuation is just extravagant with our foolish actions that we intend to take. So therefore, I think that it is mind over matter between crush & infatuation. Every persona differs from another just like Armaan's persona is quiet charismatic. So it is to your hearts Scontent what you make of it, and also what you intend to do with it. We can choose either to have crush or be infatuated with a person. For me personally I comprehend that I have a crush on Armaan Sir not infatuation the reason I say this is because I have control over my intentions, and can eliminate my thoughts at any time. So as I say I love Armaan Sir, and hoping this crush of mine will never end because for me I am very selective of whom I choose to like. Last time I had a crush was 12 years ago.
