Btw, even for Arnav I thought that his going away leaving her to face the heat was out of character because he is a jerk but not a coward. I read a lovely analysis by honeypriya in another post about suhaag raat - where she explains that he never really took care of anyone outside his inner circle and hence he left her... becuase she is out of his circle of protected relationships at least temporarily..so true...

love this serial... outstanding stuff.. and yes, i also feel its such a first to have a girl who really has nothing to be strong about, she is not rich, well education, with a supprotive family - nothing and yet she is a lioness in her innate strength and character.. love the CV s - MUAH!

Exactly, it's definitely a relief to say the least :)
I think Arnav's intention wasn't to leave her, he didn't think of Khushi at all when he walked out that room. The same restriction which prevented him from telling Anjali the truth about Shyam was also directly linked to his marriage to Khushi and again it had the same effect. Unable to lie about the circumstances, i.e. he's still so livid that I doubt he could conjure something appropriate, he just walks away to avoid his sister's questions...he even looks to Anjali at one point and literally can't look her in the eye. With Arnav, this weakness comes across as stubborness since he says "I've told you now, that's it no more talk". To his family members, he's the same unreasonable business man who acts immaturely, without thinking.
Again, if that's honeypriya's views I have to agree with the logic :)

Thanks Aish! Absolutely, was "chuffed" with her attitude today, especially loved how she was persistent. She tried to be calm and collected but when he walked away she was having none of it.

Anyway glad you liked my pov on Khushi

I know that a lot of people here on the forum seem to think its a love story, to me it's just an extraordinarily well written story on par with something like say a Bridges of Madison County or a Brokeback mountain... the nuances and the layers...

I bet that if this was a relationship of a different kind but had the same nuances I would have still enjoyed it.. a story of trust and cynicism, idealism and goodness, of darkness and light and final redemption...
