THIRDTIMELUCKY? Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra

This one promises to be the 'baap' of all multi-starrers. Nikhil Advani's second film Salaam-e-Ishq boasts a star-studded line-up of six actors and six actresses, and is rumoured to be a remake of the Brit film, Love Actually. The couples include: Salman Khan-Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor-Juhi Chawla, Akshaye Khanna-Ayesha Takia, John Abraham-Vidya Balan, Govinda-Shannon Esra and Sohail Khan-Perizaad Zorabian. Here's a first look at the film.

Hrithik's big plans
The figures are out. Krrish is said to have lapped up a whopping 69 crores (in its first week) and breaking all records. We heard that desi superhero Hrithik is already armed with pen and paper trying to jot down guests for some Bolly-style celebration. However, an insider informs us that Roshan Jr has eyes on Superman Returns and wants to beat its collections. Krrish is definitely an indication of progress in the right direction because going by trade reports Krrish's first weekend collections have surpassed Hollywood's Superman

From Page 3 to Corporate
Model Brinda Parekh, better known for being on the Page 3 circuit, makes her Hindi film debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate. She found Madhur to be a professional and a meticulous director to work with and her interaction with Bipasha Basu was excellent. Though her role may not be lengthy, it is impactful as her part is crucial to the story. She enjoyed working in the film and intends to do more Bollywood films. Previously, she has featured in South films.

MALAYmadness: Deepshikha

Deepshikha's Malaysian sojourn
Deepshikha is back in Mumbai after shooting in Malaysia for Deepak Bahry's film Lara. The chirpy actress is so excited after her trip that she cannot stop herself from gushing. "The room in the resort that I was staying at, was facing the sea. It was extremely beautiful and it felt like you are sailing on a ship. But sometimes, at night, it rained and the sound of the waves used to scare me after the Tsunami. The overall experience was amazing as it was a good holiday-cum-work for me." The film's cast includes Arbaaz Khan and Hrishitaa Bhatt.

Himesh Reshammiya has always maintained that he owes his success to God, his father and Salman Khan — strictly in that order. A firm believer in the Almighty, it came as no surprise when we spotted the music sensation with several religious pendants around his neck. "The lockets and threads are from Shirdi, Siddhivinayak, Shreenathji and Ajmer. I feel protected with them," he says.
The composer-singer leaves for his world tour later this month and mentions that at last count, he has had 31 hits in the past six months. "After Phir Hera Pheri, Ahista Ahista is next on the charts," he declares.
