So yesterday I was adamant, determined and praying that after suffering so much hurt and trauma a feisty KKG will return, the one we saw a glimpse of after the Guest House collapsing incident however WHAT I didn't expect was this ...
There was something so serene and tranquil about it. ArHi angst is out of this world but this scene was on a level of it's own. It was one of sheer pain, stripped back, raw and and completely real. The understanding between them in this scene is what spoke volumes. Mutual pain. The way she slowly walks up to him but he can't bring himself to look at her, SaRun were phenomenal, two people hurting, completely spent under so much stress and upheaval.
Then as her knees give way and she sits on the floor holding onto the coffee table for support whilst he still can't bring himself to face her as his eyes continue to penetrate the floor. She speaks. "Hum 8 saal ki the jab ... " Khushi's slow voice with a hint of defeat hurts him but when she speaks about the death of her parents, his eyes freeze at one particular spot as he hangs on to every word she whispers. It would have been better with Sanaya's voice (but she needs to rest it) but the way she slowly lays all her emotions in front of him - surrendered showing him this is what he has done, he's got to her and almost destroyed her. Yet even though he is angry at her he can't help but feel pangs of pain at her words, because he understands the emotions of being orphaned - that they have in common - as she goes on, about how the Gupta's gave her a home, his jaw hardens as he listens to her. Each word chipping away at his wall of hate and making him feel yet the biggest blow comes when her voice cracks and she says "Aaj hum phir se anarth ho gaye Arnav ji." his eyes instantly look at her and painfully observe the hurt and misery written on her face. He wasn't there to witness (his own doing!😆) what happened so there is plenty of alarm and shock in his expressions.
Yet the scene takes a turn when she meets his eyes and asks the million pound question "Why?" and the alarm on his face disappears and he stiffens. She probes again, she deserves to know, she needs to know "Why?" he has ruined her life yet he looks away.
So it looks like the writers want to stall this confrontation as much as possible but the feeling I got was that Arnav couldn't bring himself to tell her, to say the words out aloud about her betrayal because then he'll have to accept it all again himself. It's like his reaction straight after the hug, he kept thinking about Anjali's pain and Shaym's betrayal only when got as far as he could from RM did he finally let himself dwell and think about Khushi's part and we saw the pain that overwhelmed him and brought him down to floor in tears. It's not anger that is preventing himself from telling her it's his own fear of how much it will hurt him if he relays the truth out aloud. Selfish yes, understandable to an extent too I guess, he's had one heck of a night (some of this fault some of it NOT his fault)... I pity them both right now, heart goes out to them both.

The intense feisty KKG v ASR confrontation scene was brilliant 👏👏👏 I love HOW similar it was to the GH scene, a perfect parallel, it goes to prove that the CVs do keep these things in mind!
But THIS ^ scene was a total treat, it was about two people completely succumbing under pain but feeling each others hurt too! It showed that no matter how much Arnav may hate Khushi right now he still can't help feel for her too! It showed a mature Khushi who'd accepted her abysmal situation BUT WAS NOT afraid to question it, she was ready to talk to him only when he walked away did she unleash her rage! I love her "Never say never" attitude!
I want Khushi's innocence out soon but this scene was really sweet and saddening and ASR's reaction I think is a glimpse of what is to come when he finally knows the truth. The instant pain and slight regret he felt at Khushi's words about being orphaned!
I loved this episode was so much better than Fridays!😆
I like how the scene went from one extreme to another. Please leave comments and thoughts guys, I love reading them!😛
Much love,
