That's definitely a toughie!!

Taking into account our Indian traditional upbringing(irrepesctive of whether the girl is born and brought up in abroad or not!!!), I feel --especially from the girls point of view she will not stoop so low to insult a person verbally in such a harsh manner(BTW I haven't seen any Saas-Bahu serials so far!!)..

there is nothing to forgive. Kripa has done nothing wrong.

all the wrongs are so far with Angad and only angad as he did not have faith in his love.

It is for reasons such as this ( Angad n kripa's fall out after making a baby) that our culture is protective of the upbringing of its girls.

Angad usage of derogatory terms is akin to what others talk of a woman of loose scruples.

However liberal in thought we may be and say what is good for the guy is good for the girl, in reality unfortunately there are ramifications for both and more so for the girl.

I am so sorry, half of you dint understand my question...maybe the subject was misleading, but there was a big IF in the statement.

What IF Kripa was in Angad's place..not that Kripa has done something wrong, but what if she had...

none you are right would have forgiven kripa had she been in angad's place and said all the things he has said.

we girls are our own worst enemy.

but then again i do not think that whether as a man or woman angad's language/behaviour is justified. we are ready to forgive angad because it helps 'build' his toughie image that we girls like so much.

but come to think of it the people in real life that have strength to go through problems in life harldy react the way he has. they fight quietly move on with dignity like the way kripa is behaving, be it man or woman.

Forgive Kripa for what? what has she done? she loved Angad to the extent that she gave herself completely to angad physically and emotionally, That egotistical maniac angad is using her like a punching bag, the poor thing just stands there with a puzzled look on her face because she still doesnt know what exactly has happened. In my opinion Kripa should never forgive angad and even if they end up together she should never forget how he treated her. Who gave angad the right to humiliate kripa so much in public , calling her public property and what not,hes just a jerk and does not deserve a girl like kripa.
