I finally got a prediction correct! I knew that Garima was going to disown Khushi. Sorry, I'm just so glad I've finally got something right!

Well, anyway, I think all us forum-waale need to calm down! Yes, there's a tragic storyline going on, but isn't that what we started watching for? To see how these two polar-opposite individuals would fall in love despite all the problems and differences between them? My mum, for one, hated this drama with a passion (I have to watch it online every day) and now she's started watching it cos she loves the drama going on! She so badly wanted to know why ArHi were getting married 😆

We need to go back and put ourselves in Arnav's (Arnav, not ASR) position. You found the woman you've just realised you've fallen in love with, the one woman you hated so much to begin with, the woman you were going to confess your love for, in the arms of another man. And not any man - your sister's husband, the sister you would do anything for. She appears to be telling him to leave his wife, and you assume the worst. You can't bear to hear any more, so you leave, therefore you don't see the confrontation that follows, the hatred in Khushi's eyes for Shyam.

When Arnav leaves, he's thinking of all the pain he's gone through, and he doesn't want to believe that Khushi was capable of bringing him such pain again. At that point he decides he'll do anything to protect his Di and make her happy, at least until her child is born, when he'll perhaps tell her the truth. Khushi, meanwhile, is oblivious to all of this - all she notices is a change in Arnav's mood, but she is unsure of why he is being like this.

To fully understand what is going on, we need to look at both perspectives - Arnav is hurt, and no matter what he feels, Anjali will always be his priority. He will do anything to protect her, including hurting the other woman he loves. Also, he thinks that Khushi deserves this pain - as much as he hates putting her through it, as much as we wishes he had misunderstood, it appears as if she had been playing a game all along, and he is hurt. He wants her to feel that hurt. That's why he uses the 'I'll make sure Payal's wedding doesn't happen' card, because he knows how guilty Khushi felt the first time that had happened to Payal, and he knows she wouldn't refuse the marriage. But one thing we need to note is that he didn't force her to agree. yes, he made her feel guilty, but he didn't force her at all.

Khushi, during all of this, is confused. She thought that Arnav was going to confess his love for her, she practically said as much when we saw the conversation between them. So seeing this side of him was a shock for her. She hadn't seen him like this for quite some time. She knows that she cannot be the reason behind Payal's wedding breaking again. and that's why, after much hesitation, she finally agrees to the wedding. She's hurt by Arnav's sudden change in behaviour, but she feels as if she has no choice in the matter.

Now, the wedding. When Arnav puts the mangalsutra (sorry if I misspelled it) and sindoor on her, he tells her that this means nothing to him, and after 6 months they'll no longer be married. He refers to the 6-month thing a lot, as if he is trying to convince both of them that this is temporary, and there never was anything between the two of them. He also mentions that in his eyes she will never be his wife, again he is trying to convince himself of this as much as her. He almost ridicules this tradition when he speaks to her, because he knows how sacred it is to her. It is almost as if he is trying to make her hate him - it'll be easier for both of them if they both hate each other. But instead, Khushi is heartbroken, confused, and she is still trying to figure out the meaning behind all of this.

One thing that neither of them were prepared for was the reaction of their families. In all the rush of events, I don't think they even stopped to think about what the reaction would be. Everyone's demanding to know why they got married, and they all seem to be questioning Khushi. Besides saving Payal's marriage, she doesn't know why. She lost everything - her family, her pride, everything precious to her - all for a 'temporary' fixture. Now everyone just sees her as being cheap, not telling Arnav that it's wrong to get married this suddenly, and just running off with him. That too, during Payal's wedding, as if she had every intention to sabotage it. Mamiji was annoyed me to the max with her input in this confrontation. She just made everything worse for Khushi. Arnav just managed to get away from the situation, but he's torn up inside too. He wants Khushi close, so he can protect her, but he also doesn't want to be anywhere near the woman who ruined his Di's happiness (nafrat paas aane na de, mohabbat door jaane na de). You can see this confusion when Garima slapped Khushi, the anger on his face shows his love for Khushi, but the way he looked away from her shows the battle he is fighting within himself, fighting his love for her.

This is why I'm still calling him Arnav - ASR had the hatred inside him, but he wasn't able to feel - he didn't have all these feelings for Khushi. What Arnav is doing now is trying to shut his caring side away - he is trying to bring ASR out again, but we know it won't last. His feelings towards Khushi are too strong. As they say, love conquers all!

Damn, I've gone waaay overboard. I've written so much! Arre, aap sab to sau gaye! if not, you deserve a medal! But from all this, I just wanted to give you guys an outline of what is going on - this isn't easy for either of them. We can hate Arnav all we want, but he is just doing what he thinks it best, what's always worked for him - distancing himself from everyone and his heart.

Regardless of what is going to happen, I just don't want the CVs to stop the Rabba-Ves! Keep them coming! We need something to stop this ArHi depression. Sab kuch teek ho jaye ga, bas ab sabbar karna hai. Just remember this - the sooner everything gets better, the sooner the serial will end and the sooner we'll all have no purpose in life 😭

Okay, I'm done babbling. I need to go do some homework. I'm hoping for a bit of ArHi in tomorrow's episode - it'd be a nice birthday present! 😉

Oh, and guys? Please do give some feedback - I've spent over an hour on this!

wow! i love the way you have analysed the previous episodes as well as today's, that was very kind of you to share and you know what i think you're absolutely right about Arnav's point of view in this whole matter. he did this for his sister and she did it for her sister. Considering the fact that both have sacrificed themselves only and only for their sisters. i think Payal was being totally selfish today! i felt like slapping her across the face. she really needs to grow a spine! and she was being a total cry baby again! urgh as much as i hate Anajli's tears i also hate hers;it pisses off like. she seriously needs to tell Akash about the whole Snake's betrayal so at least he will be able to do something. i really want Nk to stand by Khushi for now. it was extremely heart-rending when i saw how much khushi was going through- everything she had has been snatched from her horrifically. i really hated the way Garima & Buaji had given Payal hugs and kisses and telling her to take care of herself whilst the other "orphaned" daughter stood there shattered. Poor Khushi i was crying there with her ! i wanted to KILL both the Ungrateful Gupta budhees! stupid c**ts ARGH!!!😡
Anywho, i really hope the Cvs won't continue this for a very long time. i want some blissful scenes between ArHi. Urgh i can't stand Shaym, his constipated face makes me PUKE!

thanks again for sharing,
much love.

Thank you! Yeah, I also thought that Payal should have said something. She should've told them to listen to Khushi, or to have stood by her side. Khushi's always been there for Payal. She has to tell Aakash, cos then maybe he'll be able to get some message across to Arnav, that what he's doing isn't right, NK will probably be hurt, and we all know he's leaving the show soon. So he'll probably be upset that Khushi's married, and then he'll leave. I did want NK to be there for her though, and who knows? Maybe he will be for a little while. Khushi didn't deserve that. Ah, I wish her babuji was better! He'd listen to her! Just the way he held her hand meant that he knew that she must have had good intentions. But I really wish he does get better, because he can help get the Guptas on Khushi's side again. Right now she has no one. I want ArHi scenes too! 🤣 constipated face! LOL. x

I completely agree! I think your analysis of both Arnav and Khushi's reactions are spot on!

Also, I don't see whats wrong with having a tragic phase either... I went back and watched clips from previous episodes & whenever things go bad (although this is the worst of whats happened so far), it only ever lasts a few weeks before we start to see great and cute scenes between them again.

And, I don't think any of the audience was prepared for the Guptas' reactions either lol, whether people thought it was a rehash of past serials and upset that the CVs used it or was just completely over the limit and irrational, I think it was necessary to show us how much their rash decision (I'm including Khushi with this because there could have been many other ways to handle Arnav's threat) has completely alienated Khushi from everything she holds dear... which I think will be important in turning Arnav around and making him see reason or at least the extent of collateral damage he's creating... at least I hope so.

All in all, I can see why Arnav reacted the way he did and I can see why Khushi went along with it, they're both quite emotionally wrecked and damaged individuals. I enjoy watching how gut-wrenching the scenes are -- I think Barun and Sanaya are doing amazing jobs at depicting their characters' despair at their current situation.

Thank you! Yeah, and if things are bad, I re-watch the cute clips from the older episodes. So it's all good 😊

Yeah, I think the Guptas' reaction was important, because Arnav needs to know the consequences of his irrational decision. I've said this before, but in one of the dhabba scenes, Khushi tells Arnav not to go because when he's angry he makes silly decisions. That's exactly what he's done now. Oh, I totally forgot to mention in my post how amazing Barun and Sanaya were! They are both doing a truly brilliant job, such dedicated actors.

No problem! I remember watching that dhabba scene too! lol. If you go back, (I did this weekend haha)... a LOT of the dialogues between Arnav and Khushi and Arnav and Anjali, etc, have been leading up to this story line.. even if you date back to the first few episodes. I think as the story/show progresses, we, the audience, need to come to terms with the fact that the story lines will just get a lot more deeper and complicated and tragic... and just like every other Indian show out there, when it comes time to end this, everyone will get their happy ending.
